  • yea my mum is a bad alcoholic she drinks from 6am till 5pm everyday, she has had 2 heart attacks and still continues to drink like an idiot, I don't even see her anymore. I get angry of beer too so I don't drink much anymore. As for weed your right no one as died in results from cannabis. When I grew my weed it was a content panic of being raided so I gave that a miss too. I think most police raid weed dens because they want some, I bet 15% of the police force do it themselves Thumbs Up Dibber

  • I don't think none of this will change anywhere until all these ppl can't be elected more than once or at the most twice because they are always politicing for the next election at least here in the u.s and they have to pander to the ppl that are afraid of everything and they can lie to them and say they are doing a great job because they are arresting so many ppl well most of them are just for simple posession which screws up their future for getting in to school and many other things.

  • i absolutely agree with you, take it out of the hands of the dealers and have it regulated by the Government. The taxes raised would be astonishing, and could go towards things like health and education.

  • I think you know my Feelings Del it's about time they started Listening other People rather than the Knee Jerk reactionists regarding Cannabis,Soft or Hard drug it needs Looking at Definately by real Experts and not paid yes men.

  • I think the policy about drugs is crazy. Canabis is probably safer than tabaco or alcohol but it is criminalized. I don't think canabis is 100% safe and some reports suggest that heavy use of canabis may be linked to certain mental illnesses such as schizophrenia. I think it should be legalized and the possible risks explained to users. They should tax it and allow people to obtain it using a prescription from their doctor. They could chrge for the prescription as well as the canabis.

  • I agree 100%, take it out of the hands of the MP's and allow the health people to regulate it and supply it. More research needs to be done with Cannabis because there are a lot of other uses for it as far as the strenth of it's fibre ect as well as it's medicinal properties.

  • New laws going to be past on 27 February 2012 in the UK heres some info, as this is the 1st step.

  • This is a very great topic and i agree with Mr Branson, Well done on him and it is also great that you point out the criminals and what they do to make more money out of it. Well done :)

  • Good plan.

  • lets just hope that the government regulations done end up with preservatives and addatives getting added to it like they do with tobacco. that would be a step backwards

  • WOOOHOOOO

    ahem, sry.

unbelievable, i absolutely agree it has to be legal, but most importantly it needs to be controlled still, im talking about kids trying it before their physical development has finished, i was smoking it with people when we were 13, big mistake, messed me up, not as much as drinking from 12 messed me up but thats another issue.

the vilains ive had to associate with just to get a smoke is not funny.

a shelf in the tobacco kiosk would work for me.

    great news.

  • Get it off the streets, get rid of the criminal/money element. I don't like the stuff around these days. No sweet bud just stinking skunk that zombifies. I want a lolly shop selection of nothing but the finest choices with no crap in it. The illegal stigma is also removed so the youngsters won't be attracted to it so much. It is a waste of resources to combat what many people do anyway. Create quality competition and think of all that TAX the govey will get to feed the homeless.

  • I think its fair to say their are some people in government who aren't interested in public health. I had 4 bars on my university campus, a place of 'education'. Maybe they should put stickers on alcohol like with cigarettes, 'This is a picture of a drink driving victim'. I think its fair to say its rather hypocritical to promote alcohol so heavily and ban cannabis, sayings its in the public interest. I've never seen someone smoke a joint and bottle someone, but I've seen that plenty in town!

  • You backed up Branson's reasoning very well Dibbs and other than the reported mental issues I have to say its hard to disagree. My only reservation is the increase in the length of the queue when paying for late night petrol. They are going to need a special 'munchies' queue!!!! Take care.

  • I completely agree with you man. Richard Branson certainly does speak a lot of sense and like you say there have been no deaths caused as a direct result of taking cannibis, whereas there have been hundreds as a result of alcohol and that is legal. It shouls be relatively fine as long as proper legislation is put in place after it becomes decriminalised

  • Great vlog dibs, well played Sir... From an MS point of view... well you know what I'm saying here! Peace bro...

  • well said mr dibber mr branson is cool but our goverment isent

  • ban it and booze and fags
