If you accept the bible you can't accept an old earth, you can only accept a 10000 year old earth and a smaller universe with strange laws of physics, if we had laws of physics based on bible would't have gps, satellites, tv, nuclear power. Random doesn't mean irrational or illiogical, it means logical but too complex to be predicted, so we can't predict what we'll look like millions of years later. If you're logical future isn't predictable, there are tons of possibilities and not especially evryone will follow the same path than you. After all you knew it, didn't you?
