Disgusting! In this Danish Royal theatre they don't know at all what beauty is! It's just a fat and ugly falsettist! Poor Handel! What stupid, shallow modern day people did to his magical music! Made just an ugly pathetic horror show with some elements of stupid humour... It's so sad!

And I don't care if he's ugly, and (sorry Mr Robson) so is his voice.

This is theatre and he makes me very glad that I'm not in Cornelia's shoes.

There are some handsome countertenors with pretty voice (as many of you like to say, angelic), but lucky as it is for them, it is not what makes them great.

I'm not addicted to anybody! And I wouldn't care if this guy were fat and ugly as in opera really not looks make COUNTERTENORS or any singers great but VOICE! I don't want to quarrel with you as it's just an exchange of opinions on YT,and you can like Robson though I find everything in him disgusting. Where are his other fans who defend him?! @palcika1 Operatic singing is first of all about VOICE, true technique and sharing real emotions according to the IMAGE! I guess you understood nothing at all what I wrote on my channel about the difference between a real countertenor and just a falsettist who has only high notes and some middle and sings without any depth of interpretation. I compared Robson with PJ! Are you Robson's relative? You think that opera is not only beauty and voice but about fat and ugly half-naked bodies?! Jeallous?

Ever seen any operas? They are about a lot more than beauty. Just a few: lies, adultery, violence, murder, suicide etc. Opera is drama, and is not only about beauty. Believe it or not. On all the other rubbish I have nothing to say, even if I like certain singers more than others, I wouldn't be able to say such things about the ones I don't like, because I'm not a 'fan'. And if I were a singer, nothing could make me more ashamed than fans who express their passion by disparaging my colleagues.

@palcika1 Of course, not only seen and also HEARD operas both LIVE and on many recordings I have being an opera lover for all my life, and believe it or not I've heard a lot of singers good and bad and can COMPARE! You just don't understand what I wrote about "sharing real emotions according to the IMAGE!" It's about lies, adulery, murder, etc. that you say in other words. Opera is DRAMA! Not just chirping in falsetto! You're wrong. Nobody disparages collegues.It's expressing OPINIONs about CPAP

@palcika1 Also, my channel isn't dedicated to only ONE singer no matter whom I consider the best ever! On my channel I can declare whatever I like as you can write whatever you like too.Spanos is my favourite number one. Actually, what I wrote about him it's what his FANS think and I'm very grateful to all my friends for their feedback. That he is George Clooney type is what THEY write! But what about other great CTs mentioned on my channel like Cencic, Lemos, etc.Not ugly enough to be great?:)

It's just Robson is terrible by HIMSELF without any comparison with his collegues as the uploader implies and also thinks that people can't compare and say who is better, otherwise the singers who are much better but less known should be "ashamed" for some reason of their fans who write on YT that what they HEAR is awful and who is BETTER! Is it better for the world not to know BETTER singers and only listen to Robson's CRAP?! What about freedom of expression?

Funny when people complain about no freedom of expression, why trying to deny it to others! @palcika1 I'm cool, it's you for some reason take it too personally. I listen to what I like and don't tell the others that they have to LIKE what I like. I found your channel long ago and commented on Bowman's L'empio, sleale, indegno that it's great though IMO he sings it in a somewhat old technique withough telling the others whom to admire. You are unfair. It's only exchange of OPINIONS! I'm a fan and don't give roles! It's not SPAM. Everybody wrote here that it's CRAP!Then dissable comments

@serenaluce I don't wanna disable comments, I'd like to leave it to commenters to know where the limit is between telling their negative opinions and offending singers in their person. I think that's a thing that even public figures can get from the rest of us.

@palcika1 I agree with you here:-). Opera fans should know the limit and behave better than crazy pop singers' fans:-). I'll try to behave myself from now on but it's difficult for me as I'm a very passionate listener, like comparing arists and versions and put my finger who is the very best:-) The other listeners can express their opinion freely too if they like it or not withough crossing this fine line. I'm still disappointed that there are more and more such weird baroque opera productions.

Worst rendition of this aria I've ever heard. He's not even singing the notes Handel wrote, just howling and hooting, highly unmusical Sometimes not even on pitch in the key (C major).. Much better versions of this by Derek Lee Ragin, Bejun Mehta, and Christophe Dumaux.
