  • Just because she is making a living from her passion invalidates her message? Does that really make sense? An accountant cannot speak about money or it invalidates the message? A doctor cannot make money off of medicine? An artist cannot sell artwork or they run the risk of being a sell out-? Really?

  • This too is a testament to the perpetual greed of western civilization. Another sucker stands to make money peddling a solution that doesn't exist. Let people experience life without your nicely packaged 'solutions'.

  • Carolyn you are not an economist! It's like a gynecologist pretending he can tell a pilot how to fly an Airbus 380 because he "researched" flying. Thee is no coming Chaos. Sorry.

  • @XESTISS You're right: There is no COMING chaos. We are deeply in the midst of it!

  • @TheDrumbaker You need to learn what economic Chaos means. Greece and the EU! Is in Economic Chaos. US is not! You see the difference? Their Greek 2 year bond is 77%! US 1.7%. Get it? You lack the ability to understand basic FACTS. So you make crap up based on the way YOU feel.

Keep buying canned food, and building your bunker. I'll make money from these awesome buying opportunities.

  • Apocalypse does not come from Latin, it comes from Ancient Greek ἀποκάλυψις (apokalupsis, “revelation”), from ἀπό (“away”) and καλύπτω (“I cover”).

  • @Vierotchka Bravo Megale pesta! Afti ine stin Kosmaratis! Oti nane Lei! lol!

  • Just checking to see if I've been banned yet from this channel.

  • not in the city, in the city when the change comes it's kill or be kill,i'm afraid.

  • end is the other side of new. in india represented by god shiva.people neglect the healing power of myths, rituals and spirituality.also confusion between the words religion and spirituality is widespread.the current educational system is outdated.turning out unemployable, ungrounded kids.very sad.

  • end is the other side of new.

  • the initiation of the young into understanding the sacred interconnection of life and humans on the planet is massively important- for what was my initiation? how much beer i could drink before i passed out.... is it any wonder our culture is headed for death?

  • :26-:37 biggest lies in the whole video.

l"iving at a peak of innovation, information wealth and health." really? peak of information eh?

peak of popuoation too? wow how do you propose that?

  • @sgentlemanjack112 Denial is strong with you my young jedi.

  • funny... this video looks and smells like a production of an NGO.

    blah blah.

    the so-called peak was planned.

by the way, ever heard of abiotic oil?

    peak oil? bwhahah

  • Dam if were going to start living in tribes again im glad im past the age where i have to hang from a tree by my nipples.

Lets throw away the knowledge of Plato , Aristotle , Socrates , Hippocrates, Archemedes and lets start eating grubs and worshipping rocks. Aha but Carl Yung's got all the answers.

  • @hablerz = idiot. the ancient Greeks woukld balk at how our citiscapes and urban places look etc, they'd cry their eyes out. u have no soul.

civilisations like the Delphi and the Elysium Mysteries area, those are NOT the proper kinds of systems that society today runs on at all.

back then they built (any grand i mean) structures in the right proportions so that anyone beholding thems energies would be calibrated to the right frequencies. so they wouldn't go wrong.

  • @randomlaughingman Im clearly not an idiot you obstinate fool. Your not from ancient Greece and Elysium doesnt exist (in reality). Why the lecture on classical architecture ?, im well aware of there building requirements.

  • @hablerz - i mentioned Elysium because of the connection to the last time any organised type of holistic human civilisation existed, ie the types that were replaced by the war-mongering nature-abusing systems that took over that infest everywhere today.

    ancient-wisdom.co.uk/eleusianmysteries.htm

ur not from ancient greece either - and u brought them up, as if they'd be a twat like u re. people like Carl Jung. obviuously they're more likely to agree with him.

  • @randomlaughingman I brought them up to symbolise progress, as opposed to the hippie future this woman is predicting.

You need to study man a little more , man is a nature abusing war monger , has been since we learned to throw a spear.

  • @hablerz - no, that's u who is a moron that needs to abuse etc. u were made by evil aliens, for inferior reasons, and ur soul agrees to keep on incarnating as evil like that so u can hide the truth about why ur types were ever able to ruin this planet and what it's actually for, what this reality is for.

ur not a man, real men have the balls to stand up against the wrong ur faggot attitude thinks it can promote there.

    kill yourself whackjob.

  • @randomlaughingman You began answering my comments by insulting me, i just retaliated which obviously you dont like.

Saying that i was made by aliens calling me a faggot and then suggesting i kill my self is hardly suggestive of a man with a ballanced mind.

  • @hablerz - tough shit whackjob. u actually pulled out the usual lies ur cult of fags always hauls out, and u know ur talking shit, u satanist idiot pedo.

and u think hippy is a slur - proves ur evil, deliberately so. kill yourself moron.

  • @randomlaughingman You seem to require mental help, i suggest you go back to your commune and drink some herbal tea.

  • @hablerz - 'go back to ur commune and drink herbal tea' = scumfuck who is clueless. ur a fucking liar who's the mentally ill scumfuck, or you wouldn't have an anti-hippie attitude.

    kill yourself faggot pedo-cult twat.

  • @randomlaughingman I think you were abducted by aliens, they experimented on you and forgot to put some of the parts back - namely your frontal lobes.

I hope your troubled with noise pollution for a long long time.

  • @hablerz - ur scum. ur kind r the reason anything is wrong - and there's soooo much wrong. ur in a child-molester cult, it's obvious - all u scum r the same. u all spread the same lies about how u messed up thie world, and u all hate nature and lie about it constantly.

if aliens had done that to me - i'd be like u, faggot. really stupid, inferior, and unable to back up my faked-points with facts. so obviously ur wrong there too, patently obvious from all ur posts. kill yourself scumbag.

  • @hablerz - if u were a real man, u'd be a nature protector. not a putzy shill who sucks fake-alien-warlord dick and promotes dumbass agendas that attempt to claim that being evil and stupid is the definiton of a mans worth, that only exist cause of some paradoxical wackness involving abuse of timetravel in the first place.

'sorry' but u fucking asked for it, talking the shit u do. kill yourself.

  • @randomlaughingman I dont promote any agenda's i merely argue against the rubbish thats been spoken in this video. Your clearly not intelligent or of sound mind enough to have a civilised argument.

  • @hablerz = faggot. kill yourself satanic whackjob. ur not sound of mind enough to exist on the same planet as me. face facts cunt, everyone who counts knows what i know about u scum. ur living in a delusion if u think u can get away with it and hide ur true intent. kill yourself. liar.

  • @randomlaughingman You not someone who takes kindly to opposing views are you. Have you thought about a career in politics ?

  • @hablerz - as opposed to ur faggot conspiracies careers in telling lies and knowing ur talking total shite.

cause that's all ur doing here, oil-shill faggotscum. kill yourself. u stalk and harass people for being right about the environment, the real police would stop scum like u from being able to spread ur fucking evil lies and corruption.

  • @hablerz - u do worship rocks anyway, everything is controlled by microchips these days. the CPU in your computer is made of quartz, that is a rock. u don't get money without ur plastic card right? - which uses bits of rocks (magnetic strip) and maybe even a chip-pin smartcard part (electronics - all about rocks and inner-earth alchemy / chemistry).

ur living in yet another atlantis that's about to fold cause of wrong use of technology, and u don't even notice.

  • @randomlaughingman Just because i use a computer doesnt mean civilisation is going to collapse. Why is this "Atlantis' about to fold anyhow ?

What, in your opinion is going to cause the downfall of this epoch ?

  • @hablerz - stupidity, lies, waste, deceit, inabiity to do the right thing - pretending not to notice when things r wrong, and going along with them as if they make any sense & can be justified....isn't it obvious what will cause it to fold. where is there a water supply system in the so-called first world, that doesn't add toxins to the water to 'clean' it already? it's already dead. their grid systems are the work of the insane.

  • @randomlaughingman The root cause of all this is the lust for money at all costs, until this is bypassed then we are eventually all screwed.

  • @hablerz - no that isn't the real root cause, the real root cause is what altered the barter system and created false economies. in terms of turning things to move in thr wrong directions, and unfold to stupid tarded futures like this one here we're in now.

  • I dont see how education and policing are in a state of collapse or how this relates to sustainability. Shes just scaremongering. Shes talking about the demise of civilization itself which is completely ridiculous. The only thing we know for sure is that we will one day not have enough oil to sustain our current lifestyles.

One thing i have noticed on these pages is that people confuse oil with electricity - we will not run out of electricity.

  • Comment removed

  • @hablerz - fossil fuel is what's mostly used to generate electricity. very wastefully, it's burned, and either steam (do they still use that..) or combusted gas turns the generators that produce the leccy - and then it's also very wastefully delivered around the power grid.

education's not teaching people required skills, and polcing is wasted on things it's not about, and isn't being applied to police all the things it should be policing.

  • @randomlaughingman I agree the police and education systems are improperly used , however, they exist and will continue to do so for a long time.

  • @hablerz - well a proper education system is actually a basis of a real civilisation, as it encompasses things like hospitals and so forth as well.

what i mean is - level 1 = indigenous people, as existing examples r today. moving on, if u do, u'd only build more permanent settlements if there was a true evolutionary goal involved - learning about the universe, etc.

next level up is - everyone is their own shaman and u become truly self-sufficient, not even needing to use anything from nature

  • 1:49 "All of the great wisdom traditions, of course, of the world agree" -- this is simply not true. Please spend some time studying monism.

  • Requiem for Detroit ? a recent BBC film about what was once one of Americas wealthiest cities but now as the camera enters the abandoned and ruined temples of the automotive dream in shocking similarity to the ancient ruins of lost civilizations, while showing those that are left how they are attempting to create a new way of life . A stunning film and a warning for all industrial cities of the western world.

  • Hey Robyn, you are a total techno genius! Great new format - it really works incredibly well. Great interview - am Facebooking it straight away.

  • Much to ponder...I think most of society believe the majority of the ideas spoken are bunk created & sold for profit by "Fearmongers." Whether one believes in future collapse or not, it's important that we as adults are able to adapt to changes & have the knowledge and skills to do so. Sustainability through raising your own food without any commercial seed, fertilizer, etc. would be one great example. Permaculture - Bill Mollison , Geoff Lawton, Fukuoka, Ruth Stout.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • If a human thinks they're better then other beings then they are definition suppressing their humanity. Human comes from humus(earth) and then humble, when we feel human it's a reconciliation of that natural state. As we learn to heal the earth we reconnect with our humanity. I'm certain the first times someone said don't worry buddy, your only human, the person was sad they had no control of anything and was desperately trying to control things, which is impossible.

  • Congratulations for this very substantial conversation, many thanks for both of you!

  • Great and important episode. I'm interested in what you guys are doing to prepare for the economic/social climate to come?

  • What nice kitchens!

  • Probably your best interview ever, certainly the deepest. Thanks

  • like the concept of video conferencing. no waste of money and energy traveling around. perhaps you could work on the quality.

  • Well, there is nothing that can be said against your broad generalizations. Survival will always be an individual responsibility. Socialization is alway be for the interest of the whole. Our public schools teach children how to thrive socially not to survive as an individual. That is why my Children would not darken those doors, and I have huge walls around my place. Our Society rejecting individual responsibility and consequences is its destruction. I say to Society "good bye"

  • @btigtime2 Romes demise began when the process of nominating a suitable heir was bypassed. Marcus Aurielius chose Comodus his son by birth instead of nominating his most capable subject as the previous 4 emperors had done. The old days of the 'republic' were very unstable, particulary the 1st century BC. It was never designed to cope with the expansion of Romes influence.

  • "collapse" is a process not an event

  • My original people lived off the land & knew never to take more than they needed To leave some behind to flourish & reproduce for the future They moved with the food supply, weather, shelter sources Respect for all of Mother Nature & for one another to survive & enjoy life around them. Times of glut when fruits were in season, preserved harvested meats, vegs & MEDICINES that came from Mother Earth to sustain them over the winters. All tools, utensils, clothing, bedding, footwear was from her

  • What people would that be? What evidence do you have?

History teaches that every society since the dawn of man has influenced their environment to the detriment to at least a few and often many species within their sphere. Furthermore, primitive societies have been shown to be extraordinarily inefficient and wasteful in their lifestyles unable support large populations which ultimately led to their downfall.

  • @mukwah1111 You obviously didn't read Jaren Diamond's "Collapse". It's a common misunderstanding that pre-industrial people always lived in a delicate balance with their environments. But people have been corrosive to the environment throughout their history. After all: Pre industrial people were the main cause for the extinction of mammoth's, deforestation, and genocide. They just didn't had the machine's to do it as efficiëntly, compared to the present time.

  • @Skoda130 - those faked views of how people lived in the past, by and large, don't hold up when compared to how indigenous people today still live (the ones who r left).

the mass deforestation in the mid-east and north africa for example, was caused by a system that was obsessed with building really grand structures and building up armies - ie, the same problems that r behind the fake systems of today as well.

  • @randomlaughingman I suggest you're go and do some research on "Easter Island', and the demise of it's civilisation. The Island was deforested, until litterally NO trees remained.

  • @Skoda130 - i have read all about rapa nui......don't see ur point. why do u think i don't know about imbeciles not living sustainably? ur not trying to say the UK isn't an Easter Island, cause that'd be extremely stupid. it's been headed that way for ages - mass species extinction, most of the forest already gone, arable land turned to infertile by use of artifiical fertilisers pesticides, the list goes on and fucking on...

  • @randomlaughingman That's inherent to humanity. There isn't such a thing as "living sustainably", unless you'll decimate the world's population, als start living like savage's again.

  • @Skoda130 - total lie.

it's not inherent at all. nothing in nature is that way. sure, it's in some people - enough to fuck up the whole thing, as u again demonstrate by knowingly being part of its evil fucked up liar propaganda & cover-up. but it didn't get there via evolution, it was put there artificially. and everyone can decide in themselves not to go along with it - that is how tis determined if u r good or evil. it's EASY to live sustainbly, easy to have built sustainable systems.

  • @Skoda130 - evolution in action:

    1. the correct way to live and implement systems is bullied out of existence

    2. systems r implemented the wrong way - unsustainbly, they exploit and serve a few, ruining the rest

    3. so, the obvious solution, is to prevent the physical and occult overpowering of those who r correct, otherwise the whole thing decays and falls apart.

    4. that's what the ubermensch is

    - all ur ever doing is ignoring how things got to be so wrong, when that's the key point.

  • Firstly, I agree with Carolyn & would like to point out that our leaders, politicians, CEO's of corps are all sociopaths - in that they operate from a powerful "me" & do NOT care about Mother Earth, people at large, employees within their firms, etc. People in general today are compelled to earn lrg salaries to achieve & sustain fine living by comparison of their ancestors..women often dont cook/bake from scratch..the fast food & prepared foods, consumer goods are leaping into everyones homes

  • And yes I watched this video while I worked in my kitchen. The notion that we move forward even with the realities expressed here is naive at best. The absence of commonly available resources is a reality that becomes more apparent almost daily. While we may not like the idea of peak anything, that is endless "prosperity" we had better wrap our heads around it, not to do so is simply foolish

  • @yonny1954 "The absence of commonly available resources is a reality that becomes more apparent almost daily."

Then why have the prices been dropping?

    en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Simon-Ehrlich_wager

  • Well if you do not get what they are saying I guess you could be one of those who are dominated, ignored, used and so on. If you think what we are experiencing is simply expansion and contraction you must also believe in endless geometric growth a must for a population that grows faster than the world g.d.p. and fuel supply can keep up with. Never mind and economic system that is the ultimate ponzi sceme which came to be out of necessity to keep the game in play

  • collapse has such a negative connotation...civilization doesn't collapse, not in modern times. It expands and contracts, expands and contracts with the advent of new technology and sustainability practice...we'll never go back to the dark ages unless some global scale natural disaster or pandemic ravages the planet.

  • too bad that "collapse" has a negative connotation..(considering that that which is collapsing is killing the natural world.) i can still remember when i thought so as well..

i think you make a common mistaken assumption,.. you seem to associate the growth an expansion of technology with human ingenuity and "ideas".. however this is for the most part false.. even the contract/expand cycle you reference happened over a backdrop of ever expanding oil production.. (cont)

  • @gleefulsabotage .. and even for those who think civilization should continue, there is very simply no comparable alternative fuel.. ( and fuel is not the only concern you see,. petroleum is the basis for the global food system.. not just to run the machinery, but to make fertilizer and pesticides, etc.. no amount of solar power will create fertilizer... and the soil is long since dead due to agriculture.)

also,.. sustainability has not been cyclical.. civilization has never been sustainable.

  • @gleefulsabotage "petroleum [...] make[s] fertilizer and pesticides"

Where did you get that idea? The first artificial fertilizers were made with hydro-electric power:

    en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Ammonia#History

"Prior to the advent of cheap natural gas, hydrogen as a precursor to ammonia production was produced via the electrolysis of water [...] The Vemork 60 MW hydroelectric plant in Norway, constructed in 1911, was used purely for [ammonia] plants"

  • @gleefulsabotage "no amount of solar power will create fertilizer"

Solar power can be used to make electricity, and electricity is used today to make fertilizer.

    google. com/search?q=hydropower+dam+fertilizer+plant

"the soil is long since dead due to agriculture."

Then why is it continuously becoming more fertile and productive?

    google. com/search?q=site:juliansimon. com+soil+fertility

  • Yeah she thought this all out while she was canning beans in her kitchen.

  • This is really nice and all but if you study history at all you can see many examples of the crash of a society. Just look at Rome and so on.

What we really need to keep in mind is not to let the dark ages come in our time.

The insanity of the US government these days is a big part of bringing on the dark ages.

  • @scarmenl "We were destroyed by our bigness and not our greatness." Latin proverb about the end of Rome. The Dark ages can not describe the times to come. It took over 200 years for Rome to crash and America is not hardly over 200 years old.

  • @btigtime2

True, but when you take in the idea that tech speeds things up. The demise is in pace with the rot at the top.

  • @btigtime2 Why are we heading for the dark ages ? Oil will last for another 40 years at current consumption rates , not including new discoveries. Rome had Attila the Hun and the Vandel tribes to contend with.

  • @hablerz Ummmmm, wrong. Oil is getting harder and harder to find and get. 40 years is not that long. Rome long demise started when it stopped being a republic.

  • This is wonderful.

  • see eg jason godesky 30 theses
