They're probably getting their queue from other Mozart works like the overture to The Marriage of Figaro. Some of the stuff he wrote is really supposed to book it, and this particular piece is very similar stylistically to those.

Anche in altre occasioni Alessandrini si dimostra così superficiale nei confronti di Vivaldi.

Basti pensare a come intepreta i concerti; come se tutta la musica del veneziano di risolvesse nella velocità....

I love the way they are putting on a great performance but yet are wearing casual clothes, it takes the 'snobbery' myth out of singing and I like that!

@GothicFlowerZ - Errr, I may be wrong, but I think you'll find it was a recording session - not a performance, hence the casual look. At any rate, these two women have fantastic voices and I just can't stop playing it!! (@17th time this morning) It's pure bliss!

@wodisi Find ich auch. Bei den anderen war immer zu viel Vibrato oder es war unsauber gesungen. Wir singen gerade Vivaldi Gloria mit unserer Klasse und ich werde wahrscheinlich eines der Soli singen.
