He either underthrows or throws wide, maybe 2 or 3 passes in this highlight show him hitting a receiver deep in stride. And then he runs a system offense. I didn't say he wasn't an OK QB, I just don't see him going somewhere where they need him to be a playmaker. He'll be ok as long as there's a strong system around him. Any place where they need more and he'll struggle.

But he has improved drastically since then, and has a very strong Arm. Clausen's a solid second rounder as of now. If he can exceed his 2008 stats in '09 he could be a first rounder, exp. if Snead or Bradford either have a bad year or stay for their Senior year. The thing I like bout Jimmy as a QB is that he shows improvement every year and the scouts will like the fact he plays at Notre Dame which runs a pro-style offence. If u don't think Clausens a good QB consider the fact that in 2008 he threw for more yards(3,172 - 2,762 but had one less TD) than Jevan Snead.
