i dont get that red stop sign at 1:21-1:23 in the puzzle area that you are getting, i just get an up sign and one puzzle piece when i am in that area, and no matter what i try nothing appears that would make me climb some pieces to move up, please help!

U cant reverse the time in the beginning of this stage, if u do the green platform (green platforms are not affected bye time reversing) vill block the other platform that will be used as a bridge to the puzzlepart.

He could probably shave off half a minute by jumping on slopes. That's right, jumping on uphill and downhill slopes makes you go faster than just running, though on flat places, it doesn't matter.

My proof: In world 3 (Time and Place) the pitch of the music is directly proportional to your horizontal speed. Notice that when you go uphill or downhill, the music's pitch gets lower (you're going slower). But if you jump up or down a slope, the pitch stays the same as running on a flat place.

When you hold X to reverse time you can hit LB to reverse time faster. At the same time you can hit RB to go back forward but never past the point from where you hit X. All you have to do is hit X and hit RB once. That puts it at x0 reverse. Thus you stay still. :D

Notice how much the piece you got from Hunt! resembles the platform that Goomba was walking on. That's because it can be used as a platform. To get the 2 pieces at the end of CB, place that piece in a spot where at least the top half is connecting w/ the platform. When the Goomba walks on it, move it; the Goomba will fall to the ground, which will allow you to jump on it & snag the piece above the door. Then, when you're near the puzzle, jump and press B in mid-air % place the piece below you...

Yes, but I couldn't figure out how to do that bit quickly. I've worked it out now, though. I was killing the monster too far to the left, so I had too far to jump out and reverse time to a point when it was still alive. I think.

When you control time it defaults to -1x, but you can use the right and left bumpers to go between -8x and +8x, including 0x. I recommend it for most time you are waiting for a time-invariant goomba/cloud/etc. So if you hit X, RB in quick succession it looks like you just pause the game.

4:27 - Tim can jump a few frames after he last touched ground. I rewind to a time when I was on the ground (the ground has since moved), but I still get those few frames to air-hop.

I don't want to give away too many hints, but here's one that will drop your time by quite a bit...

The first puzzle piece in Tight Channels can be gotten by doing a ladder jump. I'm trying to get my time down to under 29 minutes. My best so far is 29:52 (currently ranked #1), but that was with a lot of mistakes and badly-timed jumps. Maybe if I can manage a flawless run I'll post the video.

I've been working on a full-game Braid speed run for some time now. This particular speed run (or at least the first third of said speed run) is amazing. Great job.

Also, I feel obligated to recommend this game to anyone who happens to read this. It's a puzzle game, for anyone who hadn't already figured that out. Well worth the money. The puzzles are extremely cleverly formatted, the ending sequence is genius, and the feeling of accomplishment at completing the entire game is great.
