I totally identify with this song. I'm in a really tough place right now, and in the process of learning to surrender, obey and wait upon the Lord with a hopeful heart, believing that God's plan and timing is always perfect.
Wow, Just have to tell you all, that this song that they wrote has been a confirmation to me. Seven months ago, I had stopped taking my anti-depressants. I just forgot to take them. But God told me, Jess, I can heal you from your depression. Will you trust Me? I can tell you that seven months later, I am not looking back. The part in the song that says Let me feel your shine, mabe I can get through this tonight, confirms God being there with me through it all!!!
Dave- DC*B has been such a integral part of my growth in the Lord and I'm so sad to see you go. At the same time, I'm so happy and excited for y'all as you take these new journeys in your lives. My friend and I have seen you live 5 times. We saw you in Dallas for our last time and there were many tears shed and I'm on the verge of tears as I type this message. I don't know if you'll ever see it, but I just wanted all of you to know that what you've done means something, here and in eternity.
i will miss you so much!!! i love your music and it inspires me. but im also very thankful that you guys wrote the songs you did, theyve changed me forever. im so blessed. God is soooooo GOOD!!!
I first saw DCB the week after 9/11. Their songs have been the background music to my life. Obsession as I finished the bible for the seventh time while going up Cadillac Mtn. which is the first place the sun hits the USA each morning. I could hear, Can You Feel it everytime I went into a strip club for my ministry First Love. And this year, on May 28th, my oldest child was killed in a car wreck, so standing on the hope that the ram in the bush will come. So many more stories for each song.
This band has been such a joy to listen to and worship along with. Crowder Band will leave reverb marks on the face of music for many years to come! Cheers, Jeffery
I'm sad to see you go David. I hope you come back sometime. God Bless You.
