Im 19 and I weigh 114kg but i plan to lose weight until i become 75kg, will this loss in weight reduce me reach, because currently Im 5'8" with a 77 inch reach

Awesome. With my short height at least I got me some long arms for advantage. In euro I'm 172cm and my reach is 180cm, so 8cm would be 3 inches and a bit. And the reach is a little under 71 inches. Hows that for a middleweight? Or a light middleweight?

@Legaciesnevadie: Most likely want to be an inside fighter. Focusing on short hooks and body punches. Need to have good power, head movement, chin, and stamina to survive long. Having a short reach is great for tearing up taller fighters on the inside.

reach isnt the only thing ... the shorter ur reach the more powerful your hooks and uppercuts are in the inside the longer the more effective u are outside...so keep moving out of his range remember or else u wont be able to fully extend on him on the inside which will get u koed.

Yes a a reach is usually considered long when it is longer than your height. Example- 5Ft 5in=65in so then your reach is 2in longer than your height

@Maper555 Depends on what your using them for, but 16 oz are good for whatever you do, if it is for bangin on one another or even hitting the bag. Even if they seem to heavy they will get you used to keeping you hands up with weight on them, so if your punching without gloves your hands will seem lighter and faster.
