how do u go faster than the usual pace by just holding down the right arrow. cuz i just hold down the right arrow but in the vid. he goes way faster so how do u go faster ?

19.09 is the TAS WR to my knowledge.

And 19.24 is the unassisted WR, by LinksDarkArrows.

Why do you play all the Kirby games in Japanese, though? Do all of them have differences from the Amercian versions?

No, but the SNES version does. It's just a habit to take the japanese version here. And there was a japanese savegame available and I didn't want to play the game myself on my slow PC (at 10 FPS or so...).

Wie funktioniert das überhaupt mit dem TAS

du spielst spiele auf einem emulator, auf deinem PC. Du spielst frame by frame, also das spiel ist pausiert und du musst eine taste drücken damit du zum nächsten frame gelangst. Du kannst dazu noch zusätzlich controllerknöpfe halten, und drückst auf diese weise für den einen frame diese knöpfe. In einer datei wird dann deine session (deine knopfdrücke) gespeichert, und das nennt sich dann movie file. Wenn du dieses im emulator abspielen lässt, kommt immer dasselbe ergebnis raus.

dazu kannst du während du spielst noch verschiedene features des emulators ausnutzen.Zum beispiel kannst du in die memory des spiels einblicken, oder (für ein besseres beispiel) savestates benutzen. Du kannst in jedem frame den status des spiels in einem savestate speichern,und wenn du einen fehler machst oder etwas optimieren möchtest, diesen wieder laden und du kommst wieder zu der stelle wo du den state gespeichert hast.
