@davejoshmom1 which one? the IBM or the second computer? The IBM is a 350-P100, the other computer case is made by Apevia, im not sure of the model but i got it on newegg several years ago.
@TheToploaderwasher If it's PENTIUM 1 it would slllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!!
How you installed XP on that machine? By setup.exe /nm command that bypasses CPU check? Or you found cracked winsetup.dll file?
Seems that I will play this weekend with my p133, 48mb edo ram, 3dfx voodoo banshee, Opti Soundcard that is dated from year 1996 (and I upgraded this machine to the end). Hopefully I am expecting a terrible lags on XP with my machine. And I don't think so also that you would run Linux (any distro) in KDE with that CPU. You could actually run it in bash environment.
why do you need proof? Xp will install on any Pentium-class cpu, that includes equivelants to the Pentium such as processors made by AMD and Cyrix (VIA).
The first computer has a 100Mhz Pentium processor, 64MB 72pin edo ram, 6.4GB hard drive, creative AWE64 sound card, onboard SiS video, VIA SATA controller, VIA USB controller, 80GB SATA HDD.
The ssecong computer has a 200MHz Pentium MMX processor, ATI Radeon 7200 PCI video card with 32MB sdram, 64MB 72 pin EDOA ram, creative AWE64 sound card, 3Com 10/100 network card, 2 6.4GB HDD
I used to have a 100 MHz Pentium 1, the case was just like yours. I had 16 MB of RAM, and a 800 mb hard disk. To bad they don't make them like this anymore.
I <3 The music lol, the first song do u know what it is named or how to download it?

xp will install on as little as a pentium 60mhz with 64mb ram.
ThisIs2009 2 years ago
And where is a prove of this?

Yes only with setup.exe command line options, without that it's useless to do anything with instalation of XP.
crogeek 2 years ago
you're probably thinking of SP2 and 3 pre-installed versions of XP, they'll only install on 128mb of ram minimally.
