I had question for you ; do you feel like these shadows are completely safe to use? I'm planning to use it on a lot of other people, and since it's so cheap and made in a foreign country, it made it kind of nervous. Some people also mentioned that the shadows had an odd smell to them like sulfur, so I wanted to know what you thought; I'm not interested in giving someone an eye infection, you know?

i think they are safe to use, otherwise...there would have been a lot of people complaining about it by now. If you are planning to use it for other people, I would suggest to use a new disposable eyeshadow applicator every time for each person to prevent infections.

Just because it's made in a foreign country doesn't mean it's foreign products. If you check the tags and labels on any "American" product you'll see that most of it is made in China. I haven't notice any odd smell, it could just be the packaging. The ingredients are often listed.

it says high quality ingredients, but there is no list of ingredients. if you're using the 120 color palette frequently, how are your eyes taking it? are they fine or are they shedding skin? my skin around my eyes can't withstand cheap makeup, please let me know soon! i have a prom coming up and i don't know if i should order it (i have to order it asap, to make it just in time.) ... please & thanks!

To the people who have bought one of these palettes and received some of the shadows broken/smashed: Did you pay for the extra for the postal insurance? That's there to cover you...

Maybe you could also just contact the seller anyway and see what they suggest. Some are more helpful than others.

This Palette (chic gallery) is the same as the Beauties Factory one, they just have different logos on them.

Some places package them better than others, with LOTS of bubble wrap etc.Check feedback!!!!

What base did you put down on your hand before applying the eyeshadow? Just wondering because if those eyeshadows don't go on highly pigmented by themselves, then I won't know what to put on my eyes so they show up bright.

I use UDPP but there is another company who has the same product in the lower price such as Poxy primer by Coastalscents or Survival paint by facefront. There's another one that can comparable to UDPP too, Eyeshadow insurance by Too faced.. ^^ so check them out

I have fair skin for an African-American female and I wear glasses, color in the right proportions can be our best friend. we can use a tad more because ppl generally have to look beyond the glasses to see the work (and it is work) we put into putting our best face forward. hope that helps. see ya soon.

Apart from drugstore brands such as Jessie's girl or NYX - this palette is a good deal. Many mineral makeup company also great with a little bit higher price than drugstore... well this is all I can say.. ^^ Sorry that I can't help you much.. :)

Actual lead (not pencils) are dangerous in high amounts. There are certain levels that will never do damage but in this day and age, makeup should not be containing lead anyway with all our technology. The thing is, it is a cheap ingredient, therefore places like China where they have factories can use ingredients such as lead to replace other safe ingredients.

I do know that brands such as MAC had lead in them (nothing serious), and some drugstore lipsticks contain it as well (cont'd...).

As I was saying, lipstick lead is more dangerous then that in eyeshadow because of the product placement (mouth opposed to skin contact).

A friend of mine studying chem and bio major recently took my palette to the lab for inspection and it came out approved/safe. Of course they didn't go deeply in deptth with it, but I've been using the palette for over a month daily and it seems to be OK thus far.

In the end, it IS your own discretion though.

I am a Professional Makeup Artist, and I ordered one after much debate as well. I just got it in the mail and have been inspecting it. The ingredients do not list lead if that helps any. From what I know, if there IS any in there, it is not enough to do harm. I've searched around, contacted the company, etc. and nothing so it's basically your own discretion. I have not heard from anyone yet about any health problems linked to this palette.
