  • <3 warren haynes <3

  • really liked his advice, solid.

  • Warren Haynes you are the best.

  • You are the King!!!!! King of sound, king of playing and king of emotion any guitar player!!!!

  • FAT FINGERS, FAT GIBSON NECK, FAT TONE!!! Thanks Warren.

  • Very nice of him to offer these tips.

  • warren haynes is the best guitarist i n the world i think

  • Thank you warren you rock man fuck the rest

  • I guess I'm doing okay because I'm already doing the things he's talking about here. Well, that's good..... One less thing.

I've actually learned an awful lot over the years from guys like Haynes and David Grissom..... mostly-regarding pick-attack, vibrato, string-control, and that sort of thing, however I've also learned a lot about slide-playing from him.

He's right about playing with other people/playing in front of an audience. Best way to learn improvisation, timing and dynamics.

  • Warren Haynes is a cool cat.

  • speed is not the best i like to play slow and soulful unless my friends want me to play other stuff then i can do that to but i like to feel the notes that come out of the guitar

  • Excellnet lesson in his explantion about playing in general...............smart guy.

  • That Guitar is BAD ASS!!!!!

  • he is the man

  • Dude is just bad ass!!! Love how he plays with such feeling.

  • I'm not worthy!!!

  • 2:09 ...it's human!

  • same riff, but when you play it across both cords, its got a different meaning...

  • does he actually tell us how to play it?

  • i wish i knew what scale that was

  • Looks to me like he is playing that in A. When he calls the I chord he is playing 5th fret E string. Unless he is tuned down 1/2 step.

  • 2nd form of Amin pentatonic.

  • you need to not think so much about what scales you are playing, listen to alot of records and learn licks from them, out of that you can create your own "scales" listen to Albert king tunes in A if you want to learn licks kinda like what warren playes here

  • @Daniel51085

    A minor pentatonic

  • Wise words about speed not being the next step to greatness

  • You have to be able to play it slow to play it fast. Good lesson

  • Love me some Warren Haynes.

These are great videos. Thanks for sharing.

  • he plays that riff like 35 times

  • yes, he did, whats wrong with that?

  • nice vid... very inspirering :D

  • Nice vid man, thanks for posting.

  • this is really cool! simple but insightful stuff, thanks!
