Wild stab in the dark here....Been watching alot UFO shows lately and an emerging theory has been brewing here. Theorize this just for a moment. UFOs are attracted to conflict, especially anything that potentially can devastate the Earth and humanity. We've seen in the past that the have no difficulty in being faster than anything imaginable, can disarm anything we have, (Including nuclear missiles in a matter of seconds) can monitor us at will, have been in history, etc..continued

Continued ......Is it not plausible that they either had a role in creating or created the human existence, hencewhich, they are ensuring we grow as a race but not destroy ourselves. I could probably write a thesis in regards to this but I don't get paid to do that! :D

@hang99 You could also add that it may be a case of us being genetically "helped along" and try to stop us like you would if your dogs started fighting, or they are us, from another time, and actually delve into the grandfather paradox. I would not put cash on either of those scenario's, but I would hate to not have an open mind when we find out.

It's interesting that they monitor ANY thing nuclear--nuclear plants, missles, hell Russians reported that they saw a UFO hovering over Chernobyl projecting "crimson beams" of light into reactor number four. It's almost as if they try to protect the planet from our mistakes. But the question still remains, WHAT do they want overall?

Because it's fake and therefore they say this or..
Because the government and those in power want to have an intelligence advantage over the common person..?

Religion - there are alot, ALOT of religion believers, and if the government says that there are aliens it will be a disaster cuz most religion doesn't mension ANYTHING about other intelegent living being.
Human Mind: dude, ppl can get racy... most ppl fight cuz they are racist...if aliens/ufo are confirmed publicly, there will be fights and paranoia over insecured feeling of Human Survival.

True, but I think differently, I think humanity is capable of handling an alien encounter.
It is just that time after time and again the government keeps on treating humanity more like a grown up would treat a mischievous and irresponsible toddler. Therefore it is natural humanity loses faith in itself..

Agreed.
Well I hope we are capable of understanding the fact there are Alien beings. But I hope we don't start a war after that. Technology wise, we'll loose. But I don't see any reason for a war.

Isn't it funny how, the closer we get, the more sense the Bible makes..ie..it is written that.. ALL that is in heaven, on earth, UNDER the earth and IN THE OCEANS...will bend their knee to Him! Hmmmm..not just fire and brimstone now...even describes the flying 'creatures' that had very high RIMS and on those rims, had 'eyes' flashing all around the rims...with two hovering next to the leader..Have a look..(Exzekiel)
God having 24 elders around Him..sounding pretty 'starwarsish' huh?
