The "Automobile", I believe, was one of the finest touring cars ever made. It would have overtaken Henry Ford [and most of Detroit's monopoly] if it weren't for one thing: it didn't have a gasoline engine! The general public was fooled by the car's style and design, but instead of a crank or self-starter to make it "go", one had to turn a hidden handle attached to a GIANT RUBBER BAND [that killed it].
