No. I am a guy from a middle class family too, I lost a seat in medical with a rank of 2500. and the seats were to be given upto 4500 ranks. It's a difference of 2000 ranks. I didn't get a seat becuz of reservation, even though i was 2000 ranks in front.. to our guys seats were stopped at rank 1500, which were supposed to be given up to 4500. why? becuz of reservations.. people who got a rank of 6000 or 8000 got seat instead

reservation is not the solution to the problem; the solution is to strengthen our school infrastructure, hire better quality teachers and make them accountable for a student's success. Teachers also need to be graded and evaluated and best teachers should be rewarded. A parallel education system only creates more inequality so the movie should have ended by showing that teachers in school take it upon themselves to give ample attention to all students and not a remedial teaching center.
Today I see only 2 castes. People who can afford and people who can't afford. And these castes can be seen in every so called upper & lower castes. But reservation system never thinks of that. People who can afford can join corporate schools/colleges. But what about rest? No answer from so called Socialist/Democratic country. reservation is not the solution to the problem; the solution is to strengthen our school infrastructure, hire better quality teachers and make them accountable for a student's success. Teachers also need to be graded and evaluated and best teachers should be rewarded. A parallel education system only creates more inequality so the movie should have ended by showing that teachers in school take it upon themselves to give ample attention to all students and not a remedial teaching center.

Today I see only 2 castes. People who can afford and people who can't afford. And these castes can be seen in every so called upper & lower castes. But reservation system never thinks of that. People who can afford can join corporate schools/colleges. But what about rest? No answer from so called Socialist/Democratic country. I am not against reservation system but the way system is designed really screwed the country. People blame B.R Ambedkar. But in actual it is our great congress.

I assume we are talking about Reservation reforms here. Personally I am not against anything which is helping poor. therefore for me larger problem is corruption and not the reservation of some seats in medical colleages.
