Wruum wruum Data over and out (driving his new imaginary car).

  • @onlydata You know this is a sketch set up by these commedians just to mock the dannish language?

  • @sebomstian

ya Danish is a stupid language.. funny its the norwegians who mock it, becourse their language is the one closest.

  • Agreed. /Swede

  • (hello-hej) :p (bye-farvel)

  • Norwegian is the most ugly sounding language in scandinavia, swedish i beautiful, finnish is okay but norwegian sounds awful.

  • @ElectroIsMyReligion Coming from a butthurt Dane... this is a COMIC show, not to be taken seriously lol

And Finland isnt even Scandinavian, its a NORDIC country, yes, like Iceland.

  • @eddybogo Technically yes, but outside Nordic countries, Scandinavian and Nordic mean pretty much the same thing. Nobody really gives a shit to see the difference.

  • @ElectroIsMyReligion Well, there isn't a single norwegian work in this sketch. This is gibberish "danish".

  • @ElectroIsMyReligion Norsk er stygt? Og du snakker dansk? Oh the irony...

  • @ElectroIsMyReligion I like norwegian, sure it maybe isn't a very beautiful language, but you've got to admit, they do sound like they're always happy or sound like that they are trying to be funny. I can't take the norwegian language serious, it's too cute.

  • hahahahhahhahah spis nigger 1:51

  • spisneger 1:50

  • looooool

  • This vid is popular on Astana

  • Hahahahahahahaha, ja, lad os holde os til skriftsprog! Genial video!

  • @LifeOfDuality No, Iceland is also a Scandinavian country, both culturally and linguistically. Finland is totally unrelated though, as the Finnish language isn't even an Indo-european language: it belongs to the same family as Estonian and Hungarian.

  • @Saruman38 No, Iceland is not a part of Scandinavia. You can't just make up a definition of Scandinavia to suit your needs I'm afraid.

  • @Saruman38 Finland used to be part of Sweden, so how can you say they are unrelated? Although the technical term is Nordic for Finland. However to non Scandinavians those two phrases are interchangeable.

  • I understand every word!

  • Rathux send me! :O

  • iim drunk as hell and dnaish and im laughing my ass off OMG this shit is the real shit ! kamelåså!

  • @JuniWilma du har det vildt

  • I like how they translated "He gave me a file" to "He wrongly gave me something else" in the subtitles @2:08 as "file" and "fail"/"feil" sounds very similar in norwegian and has the same sentence structure.

  • Comment removed

  • Jeg forstod ikke hvad de sagde i videoen... så det må vel betyde at de har ret?!?!?!

  • hahahah det lyder totalt som os.. fuck hvor nedern

  • Comment removed

  • lol this is not danish... well most ióf it is not almost everything is gibberish people are easily fooled that this is actually how norwegians sound when they are drunk

  • @oebegazo it's a Norwegian tv show. They're making fun of Danes

  • Hey i understand danish just fine :D

  • Stoppe med at lave grin med det danske sprog, og jeg kan ikke se pointen med denne video, jeg mener, hvad er det?

  • "I didn't know what the fuck 'Syggelekokle" was, so I just gave him some taperæsts" :D

  • at 3:07 it sounds like he says "du skal ikke anklage mig".. the rest is gibberish though.

  • Quick question

How well can Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian people understand each other? I have heard, that Norwegians can understand the other two nations the best. I would like answers from any of those nationalities.

Eine Antwort auf Deutsch wäre auch zulässig.

  • @ThisSaturatedMind Danish is the hardest to understand. If a norwegian guy and a swede speak slowly to each other there's almost no problems understanding what the other one is saying. If written on paper, danish can be understood by the other nationalities, but when spoken it's pretty hard.

  • @ThisSaturatedMind I must say that I can understand swedish spoken. But I can't read it. I can't understand norwegian spoken, but its so easy to read.

  • @ThisSaturatedMind Depends from person to person. Most competent people understand eachother perfectly fine, but some people need it said more than once and in slow motion.

  • @ThisSaturatedMind Ich habe Deutch gelernt im schule, aber ich habe es alles vergessen. I'm Norwegian and can only speak for myself. I understand Swedish and Danish easily, unless they come from the dark corners of said countries. When in either country, I have to either speak slowly, or speak broken Swedish or Danish. In Sweden once, I was mistaken for an Italian trying to speak Swedish. A blue eyed Italian I must have been. PS, I'm from Bergen on the west coast.

  • @ThisSaturatedMind I think that Norwegian is quite easy to understand. I rarely have any problems with that and I can understand some Danish if they're from the "right" area(i.e,Skagen, Copenhagen and surroundings). I have to concentrate like hell though, because they sort of abbreviate they're words, rounds off the endings in a weird way. Danish dialekts from the south and more towards the country side is impossible though. Written Danish is a lot easier. //Swede

  • Holy crap this is funny - I'm Danish by the way :D

  • I LOVE this scandinavian "fight"

I'm a dane, and i can't nothing but smile of these sketches ;-)

  • hey, everyone who speaks english here, just use google translator to leave a danish comment

  • the danish word for hi is hej, it is pronounced hi. lol

  • It's funny because it's true... no danish people can possible understand what the heck they are talking about!?

  • @Klipiklip1 That's not a Question.

  • @Klipiklip1 I Can (Because im From The Country) :D

  • LOL! I love it! Funny stuff.. I love all you northern types hehe

  • what an accent that guy has. The funny thing is that danes from jutland and danes from copenhagen has very different accents. I'm from copenhagen and everytime i go to jutland, i almost can't understand a single word they're saying...(no offence)

  • @boygirlvampire Yupp. That's "Sønderysk" ;)

  • @boygirlvampire lol, you're kidding? (jeg er dansker). Men det kommer vel an på hvor i Jylland du er? haha

  • @boygirlvampire Then you must be pretty retarded, no offence.. P.S I'm not from jylland

  • @boygirlvampire, take you da together ;)

  • @boygirlvampire I think you have been very unlucky where you went. If you go to any larger cities its no problem. But there are some smaller towns that got a kind of inbreed dialect lol...

But yes, dident understand much they said in this video!!

  • At least the danes have plenty of butter !! Hahaha - ah, good fun though, sounds Dutch to me to be honest..

  • if they both understand and speak english, why don't they just use that.

  • Kamelåså, Kamel lås å, Kamel lås på, Lås på kamel!

  • This sounds just like every Danish class to me.. Beign an Icelander and listening to Danish is like listening someone babbling some non-sense while theyre choking on a potato. No offense to danish people

  • @snaeji10 Yeah sure YOU think so, but icelandic is on the top 10 list of the hardest languages. And danish is not. Just saying

  • @lolpopowich thats bullshit.

  • @snaeji10 Hehee :D .

  • @snaeji10 The choking on a potato is a stereotype. No one understands what you are saying either.

  • @snaeji10 you nailed it man! ;) Norwegian here :D

  • What the fuck is kamelåså anyway?

  • @wing2912

    A kamelåså is a strap-on-dildo! (I have heard!)

  • ....They're screwed.

  • "i didn know what the fuck suggelekokle was, so i just gave him some teip-rests" LOL

  • hahaha såå morsomt!

  • The funny thing is, the Danish people spell the words ALMOST (notice the ALMOST there) like Norwegian people do, but Norwegian sounds more like Swedish to me. It's almost impossible for me to understand Danish and much easier to talk to Norwegian people... I'm Swede btw, if you didn't get that.

  • @rsavemark

I've seen it summarized as "Norwegian is Danish pronounced like Swedish", and that seems fairly accurate ...

  • I will like to place an order for 1 ton of butter to Norway please. :P

  • fact is that danish children are having a harder time learning to write their own language at school because it is so different from the way they speak.. lol

  • @UnknownProfilename thats really true

  • @mayasofiej

    it's a joke you imbecile

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not sure to what degree it was intentional, but the accent of the milkman was almost pitch-perfect to Copenhagen-english (then again hailing from Jutland .... I'm perfectly capable to make that judgement call. Bop-bop-bop... ;p )

  • Why is the subtitles not even in danish xD

  • @MGApcPro Because it's Norwegian

  • To a swede danish isn't so difficult to speak if you know the secret. It's simple, you just scip the consonants, twist the vowels and choke once and awhile as if you have swalloved wrong. Whatever you do don't try to talk slowly and prononciated but rather fast and blurry.

  • I speak English and have friends who are both Norwegian and Danish. (I have friends from other European countries too, but that is not the point.) The point is that I found this funny and I don't think it's meant to be anything but teasing each other in good fun. Much like the joking rivalry between Norwegian and Swedish people. I'm sure this would be even funnier if my Norwegian and Danish language ability was stronger. I am learning though. My boyfriend is a good teacher.

  • I understand danish and english and i didnt understand shit of this

  • HAHAHAHAHA... det' sjaw, der ve' nau. :D

  • this is not danish... its just a norwegian program making fun with the danish language, because they think it sounds fun. They languages are almost the same by the way, we just have another dialect, but it all most sounds the same anyway. But in this they are just make weird sounds there remind them about danish. Danish is a lot prettier than that ;-) you can compare danish and norwegian with the german and austrian dialects!

  • @LouiseD10

Germans and austrians doesn't speak english with each other.

  • Comment removed

  • @benkeplutten Jeg snakker heller ikke engelsk med nordmænd, det er kun jer svenskere, jeg behøver at snakke engelsk med ;-)) Norsk er nemt at forstå

  • hahahahahahaha OMFG

  • Funny because norwegian is basically just a danish dialect.

  • @renget have you ever heard anyone spoke norwegian? o-o

    its completly different from danish!

  • @kol561: Pronouncation, it's a bit different. But so is Sønderjysk (danish dialect in Jutland). I can understand norwegian but I cannot understand Sønderjysk. Denmark ruled over Norway in the past, so of course the languages are connected. I'm not mocking norwegian, I actually think it's a prettier language (I like swedish the best, though), but are just saying, that Danish and Norwegian are very VERY similar on writing.

  • @renget Norway has two languages, Bokmål is easily comparable to Danish due to the union times and was pretty much developed for that purpose. But to say it's just a dialect of danish is as wrong as it gets. It's only close in writing (which, rarely matters). As you obviously don't know what nynorsk is, I suggest you look that up, compare the languages and then tell us again that "norwegian is basically just a danish dialect".

  • @kol561 Yep, I had a norwegian guy in my class. He was from the really east of norway, and was hard to understand in the beginning, but after a couple of days it was easy.

  • @renget it is? well they do have the same language alphabet, but are the numbers and words the same?

  • @ekalb2185: Search on wikipedia for: Differences_between_Norwegian_Bokmål_and_Standard_Danish

Basically yes :) Norwegian: én, to, tre, fire, fem, seks, sju, åtte, ni, ti. - Danish: en, to, tre, fire, fem, seks, syv, otte, ni, ti. (from nine to ten).

  • Comment removed

  • @renget But that's not true, haha

  • @stianblogg1: From wiki: "In the Kingdom of Denmark–Norway (1536–1814), the official language was Danish. The urban Norwegian upper class spoke Dano-Norwegian, a form of Danish with Norwegian pronunciation and other minor local differences. After the two countries separated, Danish remained the official language of Norway, and remained largely unchanged until language reforms in the early 20th century."

  • @renget That goes both ways. Scandinavians have spoken common language for thousands of years.. Who has the oldest settlement and who spoke first? lolz

  • @renget all languages is basically a dialect of some other language you idiot.

  • @imtonasty: No, you are wrong, idiot. You are talking about cognates, so please shut up. Saying all languages are dialects of some other language is like saying that all people are basically in family. True in theory, but it's still trivial.

  • @imtonasty Most Central, Western and Northern European languages are Germanic languages. German, Dutch and English are closely related; then come the Scandinavian languages like Danish, Swedish and Norwegian. Finnish is related to Hungarian though.

  • @PrussianElite you do know that Danish, Swedish and Norwegian is Germanic languages?

  • @Gudsjammer Of course.

  • @PrussianElite

Well, English is sort of a special case - it branched out from some Frisian-like low-germanic language a while ago, and then got a solid dose of Norse and especially (old) French dumped into it. Everything taken in consideration, it's arguably further from German than Norwegian is - even if it it's fewer branches away on the family tree.

  • @renget no Norwegian is Norwegian and Danish is Danish.... -_-

  • @T1NAxTH3xGR8 true, but to understand what he's trying to say you must know the stpry behind bokmål and nynorsk.

Bokmål = Danish mixed with nynorsk

Nynorsk = Norwegian mixed with bomål

  • @T1NAxTH3xGR8 Er du Norsk?

  • @192superstar Well I am half Norwegian, so in a way, Ja :L

  • @T1NAxTH3xGR8 Fuck you Danish is Norwegian and Norwegian is Danish

  • @NeroroPuj Yeah right. That's like saying Spanish and Portuguese is the same.

    Or Spanish and Italian.

  • @bakidk you idiot I was being sarcastic to that persons obvious comment I didn't say that Danish and Norwegian are same I said Danish is Norwegian and Norwegian is Danish.

    Retard

  • @NeroroPuj I'm guessing you're neither? lol

  • @T1NAxTH3xGR8 I'm neither? WTF? do you Danes even understand English?

  • @NeroroPuj Okay number one, I'm from Scotland, so I understand English lol and defending the Danes here, I know a lot of Danish people who are amazingly good at English, bear in mind it's their second language. number two, I meant you are neither as in, you are neither danish or norwegian, i was guessing? but if you're having trouble understanding a double negative, well.... maybe you should work on your own English before questioning mine? ;)

  • @renget Gross oversimplification. You forgot to mention that there are more dialects in Norway than in Sweden and Denmark combined, due to the fact that mountains and long distances historically left people isolated. That is also why later research have shown that Norwegians understand their Scandinavian neighbours much better than Danes and Swedes do - a testament to Danish and Swedish being nothing compared to the most challenging fringe dialects found in certain far-away regions of Norway.

  • Danish language? that not danish.

  • @TheThuxi Vi er i mål! Velkommen til sidste menneske i verden som det gik op for!!!

  • in a real situation like that couldnt they just speak english to each other? or just draw on paper what he needed,i mainly understand danish as an italian-american and im sure you guys seen my videos on foreign languages

  • @ekalb2185

It's about pride, when you don't understand your own mother language, you don't speak English you just pretend you understand it.

  • @ekalb2185 yeah i am sure that will make a good show

  • I just can't stop laughing! X'D I understand nothing from Danish, but guys're so funny!

  • satw?? anyone?

  • I know danish are a ugly and hard language BUT there is not a country i would be more proud of to be than danish and scandinavian! And i dont have any problems understanding swedish or norweigan even when i never have learned it,

  • @playfish96 Yes, the danish language isnt a pretty language, but Denmark is such a beautifull land :)

  • @TheMicoGirl yep Denmark rocks!

  • Comment removed

  • I dont know what they said but I like this show.i would trade my american cable for european cable

  • the people who likes this video is not from denmark is not funny what so ever, I can not see it,, I know is a difficult to speak danish but it do not sounds like that at all.....

  • @tesspoffyn As a Finn I have to say that to me this sounds just like Danish :D The language is ugly ass hell but I like it! When travelling in Denmark I had a hard time to not laugh at trains when they announced the stations and when the ticket inspector came to talk. It's just like a gay person having an asthma attack with a hot potato in the throat at the same time.

Don't take this wrong, Denmark is a fun country and I love the Danes I know :)

  • @plaidvitc I think you'll never get an unbiased answer from a Scandinavian. I would recommend Norwegian simply because it is mid-way between Danish and Swedish. It has two written forms and higher amount of dialects, which means that good knowledge of Norwegian means you get a certain amount of Danish and Swedish for free.

  • @skagerak123 Still, norweigans/danes and fins understand Swedish. I think that a combination of Swedish and Norweigan is the way to go. But mostly Swedish to make it easy for the rest of Scandinavia.

  • Hahahaha jeg fatter ikke en skid af det der, men det understreger vel bare pointen :D :D

  • @plaidvitc not danish, as explained in the video :P it can be hard to learn/understand because they pronounce words so differently from how they write them. So I would go with swedish or norwegian :P

  • toppingly

  • kamelåååza

  • @plaidvitc Swedish! :)

  • @plaidvitc norwegian

  • "I need the money, I have three cows to feed" xD

  • i'm from Canada and learning Danish...... pfft XD hahaha funny XD

  • @plaidvitc Not Danish, that's for sure. Swedish or Norwegian definitely. Or if you're really just looking for a challenge you can try Icelandic.

How do I know? Icelander, and I've been learning Danish for 5 years now and I find it easier to understand Swedes...

  • Comment removed

  • Bahahahaha. Do not worry Euro citizens... Australia will save the day!

  • Haha, fantastiskt!

Synd att det inte var ett danskt program som gjorde detta dock!

  • lmao! xDD

  • årh fuck det dansk sprog er et godt sprog i er bare dumme fordi i ikke kan finde ud af det! lol

  • Laughed my ass off :D
