Thanks so much for these videos. I wish there were doctors like you in the UK. You make so much sense. Agree with what you say about trauma causing mental illness. I`ve come off anti-depressants and am experiencing awful side affects so have found your advice about nutrition invaluable - thank you.
american society makes you mentally sick... a competitive society where everyone is forced to succeed... there is like this constant invisible social push telling you to work, buy a house, get a car, get a nice job, live the american dream and so on....
of course is very difficult, nearly impossible to live up to the expectations of the so called american dream..... as a result americans end up frustrated, feeling bad and mentally angry. that's how it all starts
@andyobby our culture doesn't cause this. And in the scheme of things modern US culture is not the best but it's better than most others. I think 45% of statisticians are mentally ill not the American public. As the Dr. said that claim is "absurd". And people who believe these kinds of statistical rates are absurd as well.
here in virginia while going to d 19 my patient advocate ignores me, they have been rude to me while I went to see the doctor and they praise jesus when it is not my faith lately just to get on my nerves and this is the govt.
Those on the path to mental and environmental peace are thereby partially sane, without perfect reasoning products of their nature or nurturing. Sad but true...JJ.
Life is about gaining freedom, and peace and love. The perfect equilibrium of mental health, sense and intellectual clarity. Ergo any state of mind lesser than perfect equipoise, will power and control of the mind is an ailment of mental health, or mental disorder. By this principle 95% are actually mentally unstable with paltry 5% sane, reasonable, rationale individuals to carry the flag of what exists of humanity.
My sister is schizo. and I was told that at age 18 or around that age, certain imbalances happen which causes this in some, does anyone else have a similar story?
it would be a bonus if we could change the younger generation, from the age of 13 to about 30 most are involved in some or to much online activity, i think the new generation of children should be taught to enjoy the outdoor's and play with tonka toy's, i enjoy being online, there's so much to learn and do, recently i have cut my time back and i feel so much better getting back to what i used to do, children don't get told enought about the health risks.
behavior and schizophrenia is a quantitative trait meaning more than one gene is attributed to it..ongoing research has shown that and will continue to show that..just bcoz psychiatric lessons are not taught with genetic components does not mean genetics is not involved.
'Before alcohol was invented' Ha ha---alcohol has been around for many many many thousands of years. It has been used for the purpose of relieving stress/unwinding/socially/medicinally.
tell me doc, what about your view on Alzheimer's then? Is that due to victimization too?
Dementia view please.
Withdrawn, depressed, mood disorders, no communication, inability to function, death........much more to it than that obviously but still a REAL condition.
Autism.
Isn't there a autism-schizophrenia-Alzheimer's link??

You are right, food, toxins in the environment and medications can affect ones overall health and mental well-being. I appreciate your points.

It is in 'his' experience. No matter how long the experience, it is a narrow view.
100% of the time...hmmmm
No hope for any of us then is there? Because society as a whole is cruel.
How about the percentage who are 'victims' of religion?
What about hormones?
Illnesses as in viruses?
We're in a recession right now-you iz der idiot!

"45% of Americans are mentally ill."?!?!? Just an excuse to push pills, IMO!
Tamar1973 3 years ago
Tbis explains probably 95 of the American feminist mental disorders too.

45% of Americans are mentally ill. According to psychiatrist. What an insult to humanity!
