  • What is so remarkable about Finland, is that during World War II they were allied with Nazi Germany, because they wanted to get back at the Soviet Union for losing the First Russo-Finnish War. But Finland denied Heinrich Himmler's request to deport Finland's 2,000 Jews. But the irony of this, is that Finland participated in the siege of Leningrad, which led to the deaths of 1,000,000 people. So in war, really nobody is a wins.
