Captivating sarcasm by these losers... I love the Tokoyo for the fact that it survived the espn zonification of old River North. There used to all kinds of interesting lunacy taking place along those corridors, though you'd never know it by the robot playland that stands there now... The video can't capture the smell of sloughed elderly skin and spent body fluids. I spent a few weeks there in late '99. You could taste failure in the air. More interesting was the Hotel Ohio East, two doors down.

I believe we paid 50,- bucks a night for two persons.
Quite cheap - but the place also was really "cheap" :)

This is our expression of amazement and joy at the quite unexpected experience.
had booked the suite on top but was placed in a room with one bed, totally run down, tacky and with a door that couldn't be locked.
It was very late and a take it or leave it situation.

We speak a mix of english and danish - "oh nigh" is fairly close - it is "Å nej" as in "oh no" ..-. :)
