  • @IWasWatching The AUDL will be officiated. There are a few rule changes too, in order to make the sport more fan friendly. The format is 4 twenty minute quarters. Lifting the foot while throwing results in a turnover. A travel is a 10 yd penalty. The field dimensions are 20 meter endzones, 80 meter playing field proper, and 53 1/3 meter wide. And the stall count is 7. The sport itself isn't about how great of shape you're in anyways. And being pro demands the most consistency.

  • I wanted to enter but you didnt give enough time

  • 12 PM midnight??

  • what size is the doublewide jersey?

  • @aviddhwang xl

  • this is a v great idea. in evry way. smart. love that ppl get 2 vote on the winner 2 :) can't wait 2 c all the pix!

  • @AgroZDesigns They are making a pro league. However it might not be successful because all the top players are staying on there club teams.

  • Honestly I dislike the AUDL Ultimate is meant to stand out and be different. The two major ways of how it is different; 'Spirit of the Game', and tournaments. I don't know if AUDL is self officiated but the way how many people, including myself, get hooked to Ultimate is through tournaments and playing 3-4 games a day and possibly 5-7 in two days. It not only shows how great in condition you are but how you consistent you have to play. Head to head/week to week for Ultimate= no bueno

  • @IWasWatching The cool thing is... just cos the AUDL exists doesn't mean club can't. The AUDL is for those people who want to see a pro league, which is A LOT of people; including me.

  • @IWasWatching To see where your thinking is wrong you simply need to look at Brodie's jersey, "Elevate Your Game". What happens when you have a game a week is that when you're not training, you are preparing. Sure you prepare for tournaments, but if you're playing 7 good teams at a tournament, you simply cannot put serious preparation into playing each and every one of them. Preparation in this format is much more focused and will see a higher level of play.

  • Can't belive ultimate frisbee ain't a pro sport yet!? i mean we have sports like golf and ping pong i mean c'mon!!

  • How many pictures can be sent in per person?

  • I have my high school leavers tonight, and i'm more excited about the ultrastar i just got in the mail today :)

  • Who's watching fear factor and this at the same time?

  • are we allowed to edit the picture before submitting it, or does it have to be a raw image?

  • Is the audl going to be signing contracts and paying players similar to other sports leagues

  • @maddog23100 I think the AUDL players will need to sign contracts, but I don't think they will be paying players like other sports leagues. A few top players will be paid, Brodie probably being one of them, but most will just have their playing and travel expenses paid for (which is still pretty sweet cause this can add up to a couple thousand dollars a season anyway)!

  • 10
