Simply put, one of the best fan-made vids for any band I have seen, captures the essence of the song to perfection. However I only wish there was a better quality audio version of the song, as it stands sounds very faint, washed out and "tinny".
Elegance and natural talent, wow. I played this often in my goth phase. They were the 1st goths well musically i guess. It makes you depressed and full of wonder. You know the crap with ghosts and how life gets. This song just deals with that alone. It's not an answer but just emotion. This clip was from the twilight zone, kinda cool.
Wow!! I so love this song, always have since it came out!! It is so haunting and so mesmerizing!! Robert is just amazing and such a poetic genuis!! I love the video you put together here with this song. It just fits perfectly indeed!! The Cure is an awesome and amazing band who have truly stood the test of the time!! I love it all!! The Cure forever!!
best b side i ever heard. lyrics are amazing. nice video dude - it works - in the same vein as carnage visors, so well done. 'the further away i get from the things that i care about, the less i care about how much further away i get...' (well, obvious really, but still genius). yes i agree, one of their best ever songs
This is a trrriiip! Listened to this tune on many twilit nights in my car alone, and never was it as eery as this. The synchronization at 6:24 was GENIUS. And yes, Jim, I will marry you!!!
loll pretz yess this is a GOOD latenite cardrive toon. & i was wonderin' if anyone else'd notice that 6:24 thing, isn't that weirddd 0_o?! meanwhile, how does one underline the bluhilit time thingy?
Auto upgrade! I was geeked out for a sec by the new time-gig feature, but as you seeeeee, it adds a lil' emphasissss. Watched the end again, it curls my toes. Bizarre!
Didn't even place the band and I'm a 1st generation Cure fan...the Victorian pleasure palace in "Carnival of Souls" was still there in 2005 when I passed by on a train...
yeahh this was a B side.. LOVE this period of The Cure.
~ that place is called Saltair, i guess it's abandoned now. @ one time it was a fancy shmancy spa that rich ppl flocked to. i think my grandparents went there. supposedly ppl would bathe in the saltwater nearby for medicinal benefits and chillaxation....
I had recently seen the "C.of.S." DVD with all the extras about the place and it was a haunted feeling to recognize Saltair without knowing it was coming...
Great video, perfect for the song.
Is this video a part of a movie ?

One of my fave Cure songs EVER.
One of the greatest B Side gems ever, as well.
Not sure about the video, I always got a different vibe while listening to this song....but I am pretty much a freak, I guess.
