  • Shes not hot at all but this is intresting

  • My thoughts while watching this video: Pink Floyd Pink Floyd Pink Floyd Pink Floyd Accent Pink Floyd new person talking back to accent.

  • If I were a science writer, I would never write for shows featuring female presenters. Because no matter how good the writing, how good the effects, or how fascinating the material presented, 20% of the male audience never makes it past their first view of the presenter's tits.

Geez, guys. Just watch the video and try to learn something for a change. She would never do you, anyway.

  • Free energy is finaly here! But the powerfull Oil business won't alow common ppl to know this,Find the real deal, a free energy device at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the energy revolution!

  • True Free energy devices exist,But the Establishment doesn't want ppl to know this,Find a motor that needs no fuel or input at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Let the revolution begin!

  • Who else wants to choke her out?

  • maybe dark matter is so cold and thats why it cant be detected by our telescopes

  • She is lovely.

  • Only kids with rampant dicks think she not hot, as if she wouldn't be the best screw some of these virgins would never have. Come on, this is a science vid, not some babe comparison debate.

  • This chick is so not hot, you can only see her in infrared.

  • I am taking astronomy right now and I have read my book however, i can't seem to understand astronomy terminology? Is there an easier way to understand astronomy?

  • take me to mars for fucks sakes, i wanna live on another planet

  • 1:46 He ll

  • I know that the ESA vodcast is about hyping ESA's accomplishments, but no mention of Spitzer? or WISE?

  • come on guys... she's not hot...

stop saying that you will bang her cause that just makes me feel sick....

  • miauu ist nice, wenn de singel bist FrauenMeister . com dort wird dir geholfen

  • any chance........ ;o)

  • Has any of her girl friends said " pluck, Bra ",

she has the trendy choppy hair cut , but wierd brows ..... a wolfman would be shy to show them off

Still bang her given half a chance

  • lol she FINALLY shaved those eyebrows!!!!

  • hahahahahha this made me lol with tears

    GG DUDE

  • I love how most of the comments have nothing to do about the video itself but rather the hot chick. So here's my two cents. Yes, she is kinda hot, a little chubby but I've seen worse. I would definitely do her, specially because unlike my current girlfriend, we could probably talk about religion after sex.

  • shes hot and smart.

  • I'd not say no but I don't think she's hot. She's got nice eyes.

  • Lol she is not hot. She isn't ugly or not even back looking and she seems smart, but certainly not anything special.

To be honest, this stuff got crazy complicated for me like 2 minutes in. I'm not a big science guy :(

  • How can we observe the milky way if we are in the milky way? We can see other objects in it, but how are we supposed to see it as a whole or even parts of it when we are inside of it? It makes no sense.

You guys are all nuts, she isn't hot at all. She's ok looking (I wouldn't kick her out of my bedroom), but she's nothing to get gaga over.

  • He said view the cnetre of our galaxy, not all of it.

  • She's aight... I'd like to read her "spectrum" (see @ 1:42)

  • It was done by observing what we can, and then comparing it to other galaxies that we can see. We can discern that we are in a bared spiral galaxy, and where the major arms are. They've been able to detect a satellite galaxy on the far side of the central bulge, through star age studies and statistical surveys. Then, of course, there are new instruments that detect the gamma, x-ray, UV, IR and radio waves spectra that fill in visual gaps.

  • "How can we observe the milky way if we are in the milky way?"

Look in every direction and measure the distance to every object you see (or at least a representative sample) and then compare those plots to what you would expect to see if the galaxy was various shapes.

The shape that matches closest is a spiral similar to our neighbor, Andromeda.

  • the reason we can see the milky way so clear is becuase we are on its very outer edge of the spiral so it gives us a full view of it. when i was in africa you get the clearest view of it becuase the skies are virgin. you can see most of the spiral its an incredible site

  • I like Rebecca but she moves her hands and arms too much so I cannot concentrate. Was she Italian in her previous life?

  • I like her too. What I can't stand is that fucked up lopsided haircut.

  • was rebecca once a man?

  • I like her hand movements!

  • I think she's hot...especially if she talks science :-)

  • lol

  • Can someone please tell me the name of the nebula at 6:20?

  • The cocknobbler nebula.

  • go eat a dick

  • wow that was random

  • Argg, wish I could, went through about a thousand images of nebula without seeing anything that looked quite the same.

  • No problem dude, its a really cool looking one though!

If you find out let me know.

  • Very nicely done presentation, informative and not overly technical and a bit of a physics refresher. Gorgeous stellar images. Also enhanced by the fact that Rebecca's really cute.

  • I like these videos but she does look like she's trying to do sign language.

  • I'm in an introductory astronomy class in my college, and apparently all objects emit some light depending on their temperatures. Now even planets do, because the gravity of the planet compacts the atoms and puts them under pressure, increasing the temperature. Apparently Saturn glows in infra red (if the pictures are true). This thing is called black body radiation.

  • Glad to see you applying your knowledge and having fun with it.

  • I do that all the time, but more often when it comes drugs and nutrition. Astronomy is nice to know, but it doesn't really affect my daily life. I mean, ok, satellites are nice for a lot of our tv broadcasting and gps, but I don't really need to apply any of my own astronomy knowledge to use that stuff. Ok, there is one thing that helps daily life, knowing the paths that the sun and moon take as they rise and set, though its really more useful for 3rd world farmers.

  • Oh, snap! She said the magic word "evolution" in the end. This video will be votebotted later on. You can count on that.

(All Hubblecast episodes containing the word "evolution" get votebotted.)

  • Maybe the votebots have evolved to scrape the audiowaves of the word "evolution".

    O SHI- inb4 my comment gets votebot'd

  • Actually, I think that some creationists sit all day looking at videos like this, ignore all the facts in them, and when they hear the word "evolution", they do a mental flagging of the video and then execute the votebots on all videos they flagged at the end of the session.

I hope it's not that bad, but you never know what fear, delusions and irrationality do to some people. :-(

  • ARR YOU HAVE BEEN VOTEBOTTED D:

  • use hands for emphasis only please....

    you're nauseating my geekness.

  • She's very good at reading from an autocue. I'm just trying to watch her eyes as much as i can to see where it's obvious. She's pro

  • it never ceases to amaze me how much information we can gather on an object simply by analyzing the light we receive.

  • Come on, more advanced subjectes, we are ready!

  • Blah, these are so entry level I find them difficult to watch. Good for quick review in a science class in junior high though.

  • @btwbrand

I think these videos are designed to appeal to the general public, much of which has little more than a high school understanding of even the more basic scientific concepts. Unfortunately, to most people the information in these videos is groundbreaking, if they understand it at all.

  • Ohh I understand that all too well. I don't think I personally know anyone that "gets" any of the principals behind why the world works as it does, let alone anything in the realm of the stars.

Where I live being an area in which only 56% of school goers finish high school and 35% were below the poverty line in 2000, It's sad to theorize what it has dropped to in recent years.

I look to the internet to stimulate my mind. Unfortunately it has its redundancies.

  • My favorite tool for IR Astronomy is the Spitzer Telescope.

  • God, she's so hot!

  • yes she is!

  • overdoes handjobs

  • Lets cancel the bailouts of all these dumb financial parasites and spend it all on scence missions.

  • Her trousers conceal her feet...

    just sayin...

  • But if she stopped moving her hands everyone would complain that she was animatronic.

  • she is very good in technical and also very sexy ;)

  • a bit slow at first, followed by a excellent finish! @:D

  • It seems you have the wrong channel theeyeisblind. The catty 13 yr. old girl channel is elsewhere. This channel is for those interested in science. Run along now.

  • cool

  • This just makes you want to go into space :D

  • great!

  • yet another nice video
