I currently attend Colonial Forge High School which is where Leon goes. We are not allowed to wear anything associated with bananas or even bring bananas to school. The principal even ordered the lunch ladies to remove bananas from the cafeteria. Today at school, 1/3 of us wore yellow Tshirts in support for Banana Man. Please send a message to our county (Stafford County) or school (Colonial Forge) saying that their act is totally unjustified and unfair. Thanks.

The students started a free the banana man campaign and now: some of the students had the shirts taken away, one student was suspended for waving a shirt, the students can not take bananas to school nor wear yellow shirts to school. I think it's straight up BS that they would susped him for something like this!! He didn't hurt anybody and anything past a one day suspension is over kill. I say one day because they shouldn't really encourage the behavior because then everybody does it, but one day is enough. Just my opinion.

I'm also white and think it is fucking ludicrous that this kid was arrested. Students should be encouraged to attend games and have fun, bullshit likes this just encourages the kids to stay away from after school activities. Which very well could lead them going to parties and discovering how much fun drugs and sex are too early.
