All in all this is pretty good, but there were a few issues that kept it from being "great" instead of just "pretty good". The main issue was the singer's intonation, especially with the low notes which makes me wonder if a lot of that could've been solved by taking it up a half step or so. The funny thing is, about 3:25 and on, the pitch issues almost completely disappeared so maybe it was just a matter of settling into it? Hmm... Anyways, interesting rendition. You guys have a lot of talent :)

The technique is good. Good singer and the band knows how to play there instruments But I don't like the cover. No feeling at all and the band doesn't play very well.

I think you have a nice voice and a very well put together band.  However, for this particular song, i don't think anyone can do it justice other than Snow Patrol or Leona. You have a slight rock feel to your voice which doesn't quite go with the song.

It's very difficult for an artist to follow another with a song-especially this one. Leona has been compared to Whitney who again is on another level to Leona. I think Nic's voice would suit a lot of Celtic type ballads-her voice is great though :-)

I was really pleasently surprised with this I thought the women has amazing voice. Its always silly comparing artist especially of someone of Leona Lewis to a cover band from Kent. I love both versions. I think this women puts alot more diction in the words so can you really hear what she is singing. I think she is really capturing but I think the band could of made the song more alive, it seems like they have no stage presence. Its a shame because they are fantastic. Need to work it more!

Well having seen leona lewis sing this on the X Factor last Saturday, I must say I much prefer this version. For a start you can actually hear the words, leona lewis diction was terrible. This was truer to the Snow Patrol original but done as a Power Ballad rather than than giving it a bit of Maria Carey trills and swallowing the words like Ms Lewis did. All in all a good taster that the band can do good tasteful covers.

Just bit of advice, get the Keyboard player to lose the pony tail ;-).

I prefer our recording for our function band CD to this video recording - vocally its much better than this for me (i'm the singer). That's on our website listed under kent band. This isn't great vocally at all.  Couple of off-key notes which is annoying as i know i can do much better and try to set my standards high but ah well. It was bloody fun at This Morning! studios!! And yes, Leona is awesome!!!
