Having just seen it I really think it's sometimes boring, sometimes a bit stupit, but the last thirty minutes are laugh out lout funny because it becomes sooooooo rediculous...
All through Bug I just felt "wow, this really isbad" and I understand why it didn't get more attention. Michael can't act but Ashley is usually really good. There's not much she can do in this movie though.
@roloug95 Agreed. It is a spectacularly underrated film. Extraordinary film, great dialogue, award-worthy performances, perfect pacing... Everything a good psychological horror should be.
Who are all these wimpy people walking out of films? If it`s crap fair enough but has anyone seriously been so emotionally overcome to walk out of a film?
Couldn't agree more with Dr. K, we really are at the end of civilisation from an intelligent, artistic and creative standpoint when mass populous mainstream garbage such as Good Luck Chuck gets more attention than intelligent films such as Bug. I blame Michael Bay....for everything.
Can't believe Dr.K. liked "Bug"...

Couldn't you have just wanked to some regular porn instead of legitimising The End of Cinema as Art Form.

What does Kermode mean "... that is what we've come to?" --- it's ALWAYS been like that!

District 9 was all over phone boxes and that was aces. Also the posters were the 'HUMANS ONLY' posters, making it look like public warnings.
BadlanAlun 1 year ago
@BadlanAlun Yeah, they eventually disregarded that "phone box" rule because they kept coming up with good films that did it.
