Hahahahaha it's a Grand Slam quarterfinal, he's already beaten the 8th and 11th seeded players in the draw and is STILL toying with his opponents... priceless!!!
No wonder the hot-headed (but still great) Marat Safin had no nerves to handle this... ;)
Okay, okay,it's useless to speak with you unless you learn the meaning of "feel" and "talent",and hell yeah Santoro won all his matches(against all great players) just hitting the ball,if you think that your pathetic .And sir i have 15 years of tennis behind me so (and it's my last answer to you) just stop watching robotic players.bye bye
@zakkounet poor boy who never played tennis, santoro deform all the shots is more not even had the drive. Playing tennis does not mean grab a racquet and hit as you want. The blows are established and there is a technique. But of course that shit you'll know if you're a delayed puber
Don't get me wrong, I love Nalbandian... but he needs to have more fun on the court. Most players would smile after that point, but Nalbandian seemed really tense after that point.
People dont realize how much having those great touch shots like that makes a difference, if i play tennis against someone with a superior base line game in singles i purposely hit shots like that to keep them off balance and it works very well. I wish more points were like this not so boring base line shots back and forth.
the magician! haha well for those asking if he won Major titles, I will remind them that he did in doubles... can't say the same about a lot of top ATP players! And that will make him a candidate for Hall of Fame
I loved Santoro because he had fun when he played.. he really enjoyed what he did. Now, it doesn't seem like many players really enjoy just being on the court and having the opportunity to play.
He was born in Papeete, Tahiti ( :French Polynesia ) in 1972 where his parents were teachers.

santoro is a mediocre player unable to challenge the top players so he resorts to being a clown on court. nalbandian raised his game after this point and gave him a thrashing he'll be sure to remember.

I LOVE Santoro's unique style, he defeated the best players of the game (17 world#1 from Becker, Edberg, Agassi, Sampras to el maestro Federer). He stayed 2 decades in the ATP top 100, how can some of you say he sucks, I wish I was one of the 100 best in my field one year only!! Give him some credits. Pistol Pete himself gave him his "magician" nickname! Safin at his best (who lost 7 times against him) said "Being told I would play Santoro was being told I was to die." One word for you: RESPECT!
