had a random flashback from my childhood where I remembered playing a game with Captain America and some guy that said "See my power!"..Spent about an hour trying to find the name of the game and this vid. Totally worth it!!!

This was like my favorite level in a game for the longest time, still love it. The music for this level in the Sega Genesis version though was better.

Poor Grim Reaper got his ass goonrushed. I never knew this had an arcade version, having only played through megadrive version and a little bit of the snes version before realising how horrible the latter version is.

I think the "MechTaco" thing is a mistranslation from Japanese.

In Japanese, taco means roughly "octo", as in octopus.

Giant robot... it's called a sentinel! I guess the Japanese shouldn't have been allowed to make the arcade game. Because one of their voice actors pronounced "Mag-NET-o" as "Mag- NEAT-o", people have been calling him the wrong name for years...

Lol this game was fantastic to play in my youth, I remember that it was the first game I had ever played where you could choose up to four characters, and when the music went "OKAY GOOOO!" I was like, WOW THIS GAME ROCKS!

Years later I got it for the Snes and realized the game was slightly mediocre, (still good though)

Remind me to never order a giant taco in Japan.

The SNES version was licensed to a different company. Data East licensed it to Mindscape and Mindscape developed that SNES suckfest of a version that you unfortunately had to witness.

The Genesis version was the best console version, but even that one isn't as good as the arcade version.
