Yes, there are other fine drummers out there but jojo brings something (New) to the table. Are we saying the same thing about Billy Ward? He has been everywhere, so has Matt Wilson and Cindy Blackman, but they are all great artists. We need all of them and JoJo is special to the community.
@antibulletdodger101 its not just his hand technique you fuck. the way he listens to the music and doesnt clash but blend like a perfectly smooth coffee roast. the way he's completely and utterly inspired and changed modern drumming, not to mention being the only drummer to invent a new style of acoustic drumming in the last 70 years. also being as modest and solid as he is, is enough to smash any argument you could ever think off. the words... a true innovator dont do this man justice.

ya i take offense to that, he's such an inspiration to my playing that without him i wouldn't be anywhere near the level of skill i am today. ive seen him in real life as well as many other talented drummers, and jojo was by the far the most impressive. if you really think his drumming is gay then you obviously are not at the skill level dissect a drummers performance in a professional manor. if you know of any better drummers please inform me because i would be impressed.
