  • This is great Baz! I really like Raft a lot!!! And boy can he dance!! He was also quite the ladies man!! The music is perfect & fits George Raft. 5 stars my friend!! CU on TGA! :)

  • Nice to see you here Jennifer! You are welcome anytime! BAZ

  • I love George Raft. "Nocturne" is one of my favorite movies starring George. He was a great dancer too! I like to watch him dance. You can't beat the talent of the true movie stars of the past.

  • Its well known among circles that people say he was better than Cagney an m inclined to believe it. He was one serious dude when he wanted to be. The bowery a classic.

  • Thanks for another great tribute Basil!

I LOVE George Raft - great looking, sexy, phenomenal hoofer, gangster, and is not remembered the way he should be.

As Edward G. Robinson once described George's face as "that fabulous arresting mask" If that comment doesn't sum it up...

    Thanks again :)

  • This is Great!!! George Raft was a great and very smooth actor. Classy Tune goes exceptionally well with tribute. What is the name of the tune that starts at :24?

  • Thank you. The music piece is called 'Blues For Nat' and is played by the101 Strings Orchestra. Glad you enjoyed the video.

  • George Raft is awesome! The music and photos go really well in this tribute.

  • What a high class Ganster he portrayed on screen! he had that touph guy good looks combined with style. The 30,s and 40,s was his peak of great films. Edward G Robinson-James Cagney- also had

    that fabulous touph guy appearance.

    Great period music!

    Excellent images and editing.

  • Basilnelson: Baz, absolutely love this tribute to George Raft - who was actually 'connected'. Great looks, great actor with a no-nonsense attitude in his

acting & his life! A man's man & a lot of women (including me) who found this great movie tough guy probably the leading "bad guy you gotta love" guy!

  • i love George Raft

he was a king of that streetwise snappy dialogue that Warner Bros films featured so well. just like Bogie and Edward G Robinson

the music really tells it. so does the behind bars shot with Cagney.

and he could do it all, a huge range of roles

    fabulous

    loved it
