$2.97 a gallon? That _IS_ a good deal! I'm paying about five dollars over here these days. It costs me $80 to fill my car up. Fortunately, the propane for the taxi is only about $1.80 a gallon. Still, it burns about $30 a night...
Hey fehquig. I don't know why more people don't use propane or natural gas but you almost never hear about that alternative here. Thanks for stopping by. -jim
We just got back from San Francisco and there was a station, no joke, that had regular at $4.33!! I'll take $3.15 here at home thank you...heheh Week before that I went to Maryville (just s. of Knoxville) We may have crossed paths *smile* Thanks for the travels, Jim!
Hey Mic. I saw and article about a guy charging four something a gallon in San Francisco near the Golden Gate Bridge. It might be the same station you saw! I love traveling in that area including Napa and Sonoma. -jim
Well, at least a few of those gift shop ladies love me. I need to take you along to charm the men! (that is charm them right out of their money LOL) Take care and have a safe and happy Memorial Day. -jim
Hi Jim. Nice video as always. Gas is $3.25 here. Just filled up the pickup at work cost $101.00. Hope you get better than 7.7 mpg, which is what I figured it got.
New Jersey, where I live, has the lowest gas prices in the country right now but i would not call them low. I wish I lived in a town where I could leave my bike alone. When I was a kid, we didn't even lock the door. Thanks for another interesting road trip.
Hi jim, nice to be travelling with you once again. $40 to fill up your tank, if you had the same prices as us here in the uk it would cost about $89 to have a full tank of fuel, wish ours was as cheap as yours, lol. Anyhow thanks again for taking us passengers on your trip and hope sales pick up for you soon.
Hi sasquatch. If we had prices that high, Americans wold ditch the big gas guzzling SUV's that clog the roads. That would be one positive outcome. Thanks for watching. -jim
Hey Sheryl. Gas prices are killing me! I saw some old people last night with a Toyota Prius and they just drove in from Pennsylvania and averaged 57 mph. Needless to say, they had big smiles on their face after making the trip on one 11 gallon tank. -jim
Don´t complain, here in sweden and in the most parts o europe it costs 1,3 euro/litre. Thats sky high prices

Holly cow! You must have a full size truck with a 30 or 35 gallon tank. I think I would just stay home if it took 101 to fill up my vehicle! LOL -jim

You Americans.. Why not compare your (cheap) gas-prices against what we in Europe have to pay.. :(

You know we Americans are spoiled and lazy! LOL I bought some again today for $2.99 a gallon and thought it was a steal. -jim
