first, i think he's not saying "it's raining" but "with many....my pages" (sorry couldn't understand the middle of it)

he says "walk through the fire" not "fog"; "for what i' VE never tasted"; "the comfort of the sin"

i also figured out that they were saying "washing clean our faces" in the chorus (i think it makes more sense)

then, "leaning on the hope that"... -> they actually hope that they'll be saved too
