God is in control of everything. He can do anything He wants - to you or me, to Satan. Human tragedies and disasters are within His control, but the worst thing that can happen to you is not tragedy pain or death - it is spending eternity in the lake of fire, rather than with God. Eternity is much longer than our life here on earth.

@mkmason2002 - God can overule anyone and any situation - from Satan to cancer. He cannot lie because that would be against Hi nature. Stealing presupposes that everything doesn't already belong to Him. Because he gives life, it would be impossible for Him to murder. Anything He created is actually His - from people to the smallest pebble on the bottom of the ocean. He owns it all. It's not about us, it's about Him.

@fwfassett God could help them but the CHOICE to accept or reject God's help is always theirs. It doesn't matter how much you pray you can't take away someone's free will. Jesus said that verse WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF HIS WILL. Many things are impossible for Him to perform, He can't do anything evil, that's 613 commandments. 613 things He can't do.

@mkmason2002 - Remember, He wrote all 10 Commandments, and the 2 commandments that summarize the Law in Matthew 22:36-40. Are you talking about the "commandments" written by Moses and the Jewish priests in the Old Testament? I don't know about 613 "things". I agree He can't do anything evil, but He is the One who determines what is evil - not us.

@fwfassett There are 613 commandments from GOD. Moses wrote no commandments. God CAN NOT take away your free will. If He could it would not be FREE will. God desires that none should perish but that all should come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4 "who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. ..." Just because it's God's will doesn't mean it will be.

But remember Satan cannot turn the oceans and rivers to blood, nor can he hurl 100 lb hailstones on the earth. Can he throw mountains into the sea or produce an earthquake that flattens all the mountains??

@mkmason2002 - Some of the Tribulation may be Satan's plan, but he is just an angel God created who rebelled and fell to earth. Adam gave him dominion over the earth when he ate the fruit. God in heaven controlls everything, even the fallen angel who He allows to victimize the earth. Jesus ends the "battle of Armageddon" with His Word. I don't agree famines are man-made for profit - we don't know how to end them or we would. (I''m sure Satan loves them though.)

HAARP can cause extreme weather changes and earthquakes on land and sea, killing millions of fish, causing the sea to turn red.
