Secondly, your neighbor owning one (as does one of my neighbors) does not discredit the drive of this 400 hp midengine V8 masterpiece by Ferrari. Upon what source are you considering this car not so special? Just because more than a thousand were built during it's 5 and a half years of production and there are plenty of faster cars in the world, does not mean the car isn't incredible.

I believe they were built for the average man to drive and say he owns a Ferrari. But to me if it carries that Ferrari badge its special to me.

But let me tell you from experience that while lots of people influence your kind of thinking by simply purchasing a Ferrari for the name, Ferrari vehicles are and have been one of the most well known names for a good reason. They are truly awe-inspiring to drive. I have several experiences with 360s, 430s, even the new 599, and they really are driving nirvana.
They are. Too many people own them. And they are noting compared to other mid range super cars. Dont get me wrong I love the 360 love it more than the 430 body. But there are other you can buy for cheaper with mmore performance and luxury.
