Yes it does look like a good gadget, I have had huge problems with repairing these type of taps, might even get hold of one.
BTW, when refitting the Headnut, I strongly recommend you DO NOT just nip it up, as in some cases it will screw out when someone turns the tap on fully and ends up screwing it back out by hand and.. Flood! That is precisely why they are overcautious in manufacture and they are fitted so tightly
This looks handy for loosening some tap inserts, but no way would you use it to tighten them back up, they only need nipping up otherwise they'll never come off again! (oh unless the next plumber also has one of these things)
BUT...using long box spanner (padded with cardboard protecting the chrome finish on tap) and a decent 18 inch adjustable wrench ...that headgear WILL come off.
Plus don't use this gadget to replace headgear as it will over torque the fitting.
Just spent two days trying to get a siezed tap-head off using penetrating oil and a box spanner for leverage. Bought this gadget on-line and it took only ten minutes and it was dead easy!
The only down side is the cost - £20, but I suppose it's less than calling a plumber out.
I have no connected with the manufacturers in any way.

Lay a towel on the inside of the basin-you don't want to mark it if you drop something/

This is a basic gadget that works.
