We took in a 4 weeks old kitten, yesterday. She always seems to have her claws out? When we try to pick he up she'll always hanging onto whatever she can. Do all kitten do this? Why, do you know? She isn't at all aggressive...maybe even a bit timid.I love to hold her but she tends to knead my chest/neck with open claws when she is tired. she is also biting my chin or fingers...no one elses. I think because mine are cold?

@LehGil Probably at 4 weeks it was taken away from its mother too soon! The knitting is what they do to stimulate milk flow when feeding on theirs mothers! Try to avoid skin contact and have her on a cushion or something but she will probablt always do it!

@andymerv Give the kitten something else to chew rather than any part of you - when kittens bite/ claw they simulate nursing from mamma - it's called "wool pulling" (I have no idea why it's called this). It happens when kittens are taken from their mothers too soon. Kittens ought to be with Momma Cat for EIGHT WEEKS MININUM - ten/ twelve weeks with the mother are better whenever possible.

@goudacheese33536 Fox usually won't eat kittens unless they're very stressed and need food. Coyotes, on the other hand, will eat small dogs, cats and kittens. Don't let your cats outside unless you're with them ... the worst can, and does, happen, unfortunately.
