  • My favorite George Harrison song of all time!

  • Beautifully done video! I give you praise for your work! Thanks for the tribute of our not forgotten brother, "George Harrison."

  • the best beatle!

  • There are 24 idiots in this world

  • @SaroAynedjian

    at least ;)

  • George Harrison was a devoted truth seeker who spread the truth that he found through his music and lyrics. He was a very spiritual guy, but he had a lot of distraction in his life and got caught up living in the material world. Now it is our turn to seek the truth Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then click on "The Present" to open it. What it says will inspire you like the truth inspired George.

  • @lifeispresent7 - Go away, please! Preach your gospel in North Korea, Jewish salesman!

  • I really dig smoking! Especially weed.

  • Nice :)

    abeldanger(dot)net

  • has anyone ever seen anyone like this guy....??? he is amazing and a truly beautiful person....i wont try to describe, everyone knows the feelings he sings

  • I want this video on my 500 phone.

  • this song is so ingrained in my life it's kind of like a brother or sister, just always been there i don't rember not knowing this song it's like remebering not knowing how to walk or something like that.

  • Harry Krishna, wonderful, George Harrison, wonderful! talented, beautiful person with a beautiful voice! My favorite Beatle! If you don't like his music then why listen to it and make dumb comments! I love George Harrison! Forever! R.I.P. He lives on through his music!

  • Great!!!

  • its all in the mind, ya know.

  • I love man too!! His music touches my heart cause I love the way he says he loves God.

  • very good song and very good person.I cry when i listen this song...very good job george and thank you for you music

  • Muito bom! =D

  • wow... love this song, number one the day i was born... think I will have it played at my funeral too... x

  • Peace and Unity on this planet can only be attained by the means of Truth. This is a crucial year for us a species, Our animal minds are completely out of control, Imminent destruction is just around the corner if we do not seek the truth. The truth about life and death is the only thing that will work. Think about it? We've tried everything else. Go to truthcontest(dot)com and read The Present (universal truth) and you will see what I am talking about, It is not what you think it is.

  • @AnyColourYouLike1OO Thank you so much for sharing this!

  • @AnyColourYouLike1OO I agree completely that man has let the basal part of his nature rule these days. We are retrograding from the advances we've made with terrible speed. Is that not against the will of the universe, which gave us a mind to transcend the simple instincts of the animal? Nature has led to us being this creature which can comprehend itself, the world, the universe, and even things which do not exist. Why should we desire to go backwards?

  • George attracts Christian crazies since he was so Hindu or "of the phenomenon of Knowledge". That's all it is. It's obvious his songs are awesome, better or worse than the other beatles I can't say, but beautiful, yes! They just want to discredit someone who loves Krishna because it's not Jesus enough for 'em. John Lennon was killed by a Christian lunatic who quoted his innocent comment, "we're more popular than God", which I know is just fine with God. God is a Beatles fan! Long live George.

  • @skengin

best comment on Youtube ever :)

  • @skengin If I'm correct the book "Catcher in the Rye" drove him to insanity. I don't think the religion had that much to do with it, except the fact that he asked God for spiritual aid and stuff. Probably I'm wrong, I don't know - but I know that the religion wasn't the thing that made him insane.

  • 24 dislikes, thats blasphemy

  • thank you!!!

  • Give me , give me, give me...such needy people!...LOL!!!

  • @poeavor

All you need is love. :)

  • He is very good brings back memories of my childhood and the legend plays on , good stuff

  • Wonderful man, great personality, beautiful & inspiring music, all-around friendly & easy-going person to be around.......................rest in peace George.............you & your music will always be a treasured part of our life memories. :)

  • Oh so nice, thank you!!

  • I own a video copy of the last interview George Harrison ever gave ...and yes, he was smiling, and full of love and light. He was, is, and shall always be the real deal.

  • TwoUselesslegs - What a loser you must be - such a sad, unfulfilled life...

  • Does anyone else find themselves tapping their foot and singing along without even realizing it??

  • So... the guy made his music, earned his money, lived his f_ing life the way he wanted and died with a name that millions of smiles can remember... and a f_ing NOBODY comes (with no music or life or NAME) and talks shitt about him?, LOLOLOLOLOL...[4ever]

  • That awkward moment when the ad on this video is about shooting, stealing, and smuggling.

  • George Harrison was the money obsessed Beatle! His so called "Spirituality" was nothing more than a joke. He merely went through the"rituals"! Fingering his "beads". I think , deep down, he was afraid of death and that's why he clung to that Krishna and reincarnation shit.

  • Your obviously missing the true magic of music, because your being negative. You care enough to listen to it and comment, let your tormented heart relax, and just enjoy

  • @RobertFCrusader Hey, I don't care if it's Hitler or Mother Teresa-- I'm not going to slam or touch on someone's relationship with their god. That's done in really bad taste. Maybe you could stop assuming so much. Peace and love.

  • @LoquaciousInkSlinger - I've been known for bad taste which in itself is a SIGN of good taste. That being said, I will continue assuming as much as possible. War and Peace- Leo Tostoy, grave digger.

  • @RobertFCrusader Whatever makes you happy.

  • @RobertFCrusader It's a free country, so you can say whatever you want to, but you sir are an idiot!!

  • @wreed1124 - I'll take that as a compliment. Thank you. Hari Bol!

  • @RobertFCrusader

I think you're wrong about George Harrison. YOU think deep down he was afraid of death. But he was ready. Are you ready? And anyway, What do you care about anybodys devotion to their faith? Does it HAVE to agree with your Christian sensibilities? What makes you think you're right?

  • Your video is a favorite on Praia

  • I think that unless you spent countless hours being with him and actually knowing him, none of the comments here mean anything. No matter how much time he spent in front of a camera that amount of time pales to the rest of his life, off camera and no one here...knows him. If you all want to reflect your sad lilttle pathetic lives on to what you ...think...you know about him be my guest.I read the comments here and chuckle. In the end it's the music. Only the music. not the man or the myth.

  • @FrlghtWolf I hope your entire family dies of Cancer.

  • @XxSPFanx - Why does George Harrison attract such an uneducated fan base?

  • @FrlghtWolf - Well, let me guess....You know, your guess is as good as mine.

  • @FrlghtWolf Listen, we're all entitled to our own opinions but the people that come here, on youtube, to listen to George Harrison's Music, are thinking, wow! this frightwolf guy is really an asshole, because you're writing really bad and mean things about George Harrison and even sometimes the people who listen and like his music. You can talk whatever you want about him, just not on his songs on youtube just to start fights...it ruins it :P

  • @FrlghtWolf ,,!,,

  • 23 people are complete, deaf, tasteless idiots!!!

  • @appleberry511 because all they can do is talk crap and only dream of talent, charm, beauty and life George Harrison had. You can't take them seriously just laugh at them.

  • @appleberry511 - I don't think anyone is "slamming" George.

This is the problem with these chat rooms. They get populated

by nothing but like-minded individuals. An ECHO CHAMBER.

After a while, you actually start believing everything you hear

about this man. This is a REALITY CHECK: He was convicted

of PLAGIARIZING other people's music. He lived in a 120 room

mansion while telling others he despised "materialism".

Preached health while he literally SMOKED HIMSELF TO

    DEATH!

  • @TwoUselessLegs So smokers aren't allowed to promote good health? Reality check: It's addictive. Besides, everyone smoked in the 60s. Shouldn't you be appreciative that these people showed us that smoking kills? He did plagiarize but not on purpose and he didn't lie about it. Can't be anything wrong there. You can live in a big house and not be materialistic, as long as you don't feel that it constitutes the greatest good and highest value in life.

  • @Trouter92 - Oh just stop it! Defending smoking is

like defending rape. You simply sound stupid trying.

George's problem is one of HYPOCRISY, nothing else.

As a high profile celebrity you want to take that fucking

cigarette out of your mouth before you open your mouth.

There are adoring kids watching you, imitating you. Had

he been honest about his issues it might have gone

unnoticed. As it is, George's mediocre music never gave

him the mantle by which to espouse ANYTHING!

  • @TwoUselessLegs I don't normally 'defend' smoking but when some ignorant person says its like rape then i will. It's like you've never been around smoking and your a five year old who thinks its the worst thing in the world.

  • @Trouter92 - If I saw you on your knees with your lips

wrapped around the tail-pipe of a running car you could

not look any more stupid. It is, in my opinion, the ultimate

act of self-loathing. That you would poison yourself in such

fashion is bad enough; that you would poison the loved

ones around you says even more. George Harrison quite

literally SMOKED HIMSELF TO DEATH. In your confused

and enthusiastic rush to celebrate all things Beatles you

    forfeited your common sense.

  • @TwoUselessLegs ....two useless legs & a useless brain. george had the right to do, think, or say whatever he desired, for he has free will. didnt george write a song called "think for yourself"? under your train of thought, you have no right coming here & voicing any opinion, cause you have no mantel to espouse anything!

ps, i will not be reviewing or responding to any replies from you, cause i dont give a fuck.

  • @appleberry511

Everyone? Look at the dislike bar for a second... or, that is to say, TRY TO FIND the dislike bar...

  • @appleberry511

It's the same guy with 50 accounts. Just thumb down and mark as spam and ignore him. He'll get destroyed by his own loneliness over time.

  • @appleberry511 yeeeeeah, he made wonderful songs. Some of the best Beatles songs were composed by George, and he gave us beautiful solo pieces like this one.

  • @appleberry511 i agree with you 100%

  • @appleberry511 I've always thought George was the most talented of The Beatles!!!!!

  • @TheWarpig66 george was great but OMG, he was the least talented musician, with paul being so far ahead of everyone else it wasn't even close...they were all artists...but talent implies musical ability and i'm afraid he was a great musician...he got much much better as the years went on as did they all but paul was and a fantastic musician...john was the artistic soul of the band but paul had the chops

  • @rdfab3 No, I think Ringo was the least talented Beatle...

  • @rdfab3 Sorry, but George was considered the best musician of the group. And just look at the work they did after the Beatles broke up - what George did was far better than anything Paul did. Paul had charisma, he was the best looking, but NOT the most talented.

  • @vs0522 -Right, that would be Ringo.

  • @appleberry511 How could anyone slam George?! A good musician with something of worth to say unlike the sex obsessed pop tarts today.

  • oops

  • George, what a man ♥

  • George's voice did well in harmony but it was never meant

for solo work. His guitar was often jangly (Here, There and

Everywhere). Many of his songs suffered a rhythmic awkward-

ness. For a while, he got locked into this 3 WORD TITLE

SYNDROME (I Me Mine, My Sweet Lord, What Is Life, I Dig

Life) which lent George's music a rinky-dink quality. His

hypocrisy preached the evils of materialism while living in

a 120 room mansion. Little wonder his new film is titled

    Living In A Material World.

  • @TwoUselessLegs NAH.

  • @TwoUselessLegs Love You to, It's all too much, Within you Without you, While my Guitar gently weeps, Piggies, Long Long Long, Something, Here Comes the Sun, I Me Mine, For you Blue, The Inner light, Its all too Much, Give me Love, All things must pass, Isn't it a Pity, Be Here now, The Rising Sun, Dark Horse, Think for yourself, Bangladesh, The Day the World Gets round. It goes on.Poetry, beauty, vision, cant you see it? Who can see it? Such meaning in his lyrics, beauty in his music. You lose.

  • @TwoUselessLegs Oh and Beware of Darkness and Art of Dying are a few other good ones, you should look them up. Have you really heard any of the songs I have listed?

  • @TwoUselessLegs And perhaps George did struggle with materialism, but he saw IT, IT comes out clearly in his lyrics. By IT I mean a clear view of the world. He saw what was important, even if he may not have lived out his principles, his ideals. He saw what is good, right. What is true. He inspired people all over the world, and will continue to get a message through. He had that vision inside of him. That man possessed greatness. He got a message through.

  • @3C3D3S3 - What myth making! George struggled not only

with music but with life. That he was a Beatle might have been

the worst thing that ever happened to him. He felt pressured to

do music even though he clearly was not equipped for it. His 2

or 3 good songs came near the end of the Beatle era and got

help. The biggest hit on All ThingsMust Pass turned out to be

plagiarized. Greatness? If he had "talent" it was in that he

hitched his wagon to Lennon & McCartney's rising star!

  • @TwoUselessLegs Where are you getting this idea that he never any respect? Where are you getting all of these assumptions? And Im pretty sure he cared about music and was equipped for it considering his music and his guitar playing ability. Got help. Can you really not see the theme throughout his music? Love one another, those were his last words. He cared about what he wrote about. When you see him do you really see a bitter jealous man? Your delusional I say.

  • @3C3D3S3 - Let me ask you, seriously: have you ever

seen this man happy? I mean, take a look at all of his

interviews. Melancholia or clinical depression? Always

complaining. In the end he came off bitter and petty.

Hardly the "spiritual" Beatle you all seem to think he is.

You know, there's a reason his new (only) film is titled

"Living In A Material World". It's a tacit acknowledgement

that George seldom LIVED what he PREACHED. Now all

you just have to ask yourself "why".

  • @TwoUselessLegs I can see how he might be unhappy, I look at you all, see the love that is sleeping, while my guitar gently weeps. We can see this world around us and all its flaws, but he felt like he couldn't do anything. He tried to be spiritual, tried to cling to meaning but perhaps he failed it. Be the change, maybe this is where he failed, many people do. Its easy to feel small and lose faith in the world. We cling to what we have, he had music.

  • @3C3D3S3- Well put. It could be something noble or, it

could be just plain vanity. George would later dismiss

the Beatles as "unimportant". He would complain that fame

compromised his privacy. He said he hated FAME. I think

it was all bullshit, a smokescreen. I think George wanted

fame. Lots of it! He wanted what John and Paul got. He

was frustrated that fate had not given him John's wit or

Paul's charm. When he didn't get what he wanted, he

threw a tantrum. A life long tantrum.

  • @TwoUselessLegs Vanity, really? If it was vanity why wasn't his music reeking of meaningless pop garbage? Come on he definitely wasn't the jealous type.

  • @TwoUselessLegs ...look, Useless: I love this particular song. Do you have a problem with that? Good. Now, instead of you invoking criticism on everyone else, I'd appreciate it if YOU list the names of your well-liked singers.

  • @PaulDavidHewson1 - Well, you would have a point

except that your choices are so garishly bad that they

demand a direct response. My god, might as well tell

me you "love" Abba's Dancing Queen or Neil Diamond's

"Turn On Your Heart Light". I'm afraid I do not listen to

the fluffy soft-rock "hit" parade that plagues most grocery

stores, elevators and doctor's offices. Why not aspire to loftier music? Why does an otherwise intelligent man

    dwell among the mediocrities?

  • George was such a beautiful man with thick wavy hair and a very soothing voice. George's music is not only soothing; George rocks on a lot of songs and his music was often cerebral, like this one. George was true to his musical muse and did not compromise his talents or his beliefs for anyone.

  • 23 Dislikes? You phruckin' people need to get a life! Go listen to Menudo! The quality is not A-1, but the song is simply classic! You can't help but start singing to it. I want to know the dump trucks who hit the dislike button. Miracle Ears for you!

  • @PaulDavidHewson1 i agree that this is the right path but you have to respect other peoples pathes. altho its what they feel they want right now it will effect them in the future and they will learn. just remember that everything happnes for a reason

  • @usaisbeastly ...see, this is where you are wrong. I don't have to respect the paths (pathes?) of 23 ding-a-lings!

  • @PaulDavidHewson1 i think you'r misinterpreting the message of the beatles. They looked at everything as one. What this simply means that the people who are saying that this is bad are right because that is a way you can persieve things. if thats not their path thats their path for a reason. them not agreeing with the song doesnt make it a bad song... it just means its not their thing and in the end its not a good or bad thing that they dont like it... it just is :P

  • The most talented Beatle ??

  • Lindo !!!

  • S-w-e-e-e-e-e-e-t!! The words, the guitars, WOW

  • Thanks so much, George!

  • hear this on a sunny day and you can't fail to get it. true class.

  • Forever angel, sweet swooning rebel

Dry your tears the people will answer

    changes come and freedom goes

no one knows what the future holds.

  • A true human being...r.i.p. brotha!

  • i love to hear this song, very relaxing. George is a great musician....

  • the master !!

  • Best of all 4 of the Beatles if you ask me!

  • @roger28700 My favorite Beatle was John, Paul, George, and Ringo. The other Beatle members I didn't care for too much...

  • this song is just so peaceful and loving... it never fails to affect me

  • whats the point of listening to this song and disliking it... ITS MUSIC ^u^

  • e george melhor ainda! :)

  • hahahhahaaha boa!

  • MMMM THE PIANO IS THE SAME..."I WANT YOU" OF BOB DYLAN NO??

  • @Kendallat15 JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT YOU CERTAINLY WERNT ALONE IN FEELING SAD (*WITH LAST TUESDAY BEING THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS PASSING) ALONG WITH JOHN LENNON'S DEATH - ITS NOT SOMETHING YOU EVER FORGET. I STILL FEEL SAD AROUND THIS TIME OF YEAR. LIKE YOU, I NEVER GOT TO MEET HIM AND JOHN (THE NEAREST "BEATLE" CONTACT WAS SEEING PAUL IN CONCERT IN THE EARLY 90'S) I WISHED ID HAVE GONE ALONG TO THE TRIBUTE CONCERT AT THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL (THOUGH I HAVE IT ON DVD)

  • What a great musician.

  • Nobody around me seems to get why I was so sad tuesday, but how couldn't you? A great person died ten years ago, I never met him, I 'm sad that I never got to, but in a way you don't have to know him to get his personality, it's in the music hat he gave us. :)

  • His last words were, "Love one Another".

  • Mr Harrison wrote so many amazing songs, but this has to be my favorite. talking about we all need peace, love and hope

  • @uberpluses He was an amazing composer.......ed

    w w w eddy nu

  • George, May you rest in such great, great peace. You are the best. What will really stay living is the wonderful music we hear from you, and the history you've been through. And to most of us ( who like you ), you are an inspiration...but your more than that. :)

  • My life is best with this song

  • The world is too sad without him!

  • @zickie2000, it's sad, true. But the world is a better place for him having been here.

  • Love it...

  • Simply the best!

  • Love this song. Loved this man's outlook and music.

  • RIP George....long live your legacy with your songs of love and peace..you are truly missed

  • Sad when I listen to this and think about the violence which has occurred during these past 10 years since he died (and still continuing). But hopeful that more and more people will work for peace. George is one of those people whom I did not know but feel a loss for his not being here any more. But we will all leave this place. That's one thing we share in common. We need to make the best of every day we are here.

  • cant view on my dtoid. 2 bad 2 sad.

  • RIP George, love ya man!

  • 10 años sin ti... pero siempre estás conmigo. Te quiero, George.

  • 10 years today since we lost you, and we're still waiting for it.......Sorry George. Peace Brother

  • this is my favorite song now :3 <3

  • REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND

  • my eyes are full of water on this 10 year day..ty u for enriching my life George..and ty Olivia..the docu and book are beautiful

  • Ya 10 años y sigues estando tan presente con tu música. Te recordaremos por siempre, George.

  • Gone too long, too soon. An incredible mentor musically and spiritually. The GREAT George Harrison.

  • George we lost you 10 years ago today, you and your music will live on forever. Thank you for giving us so much, you are by far the most wonderful inspiration. RIP, you will never be forgotten.

  • @TwoUselessLegs fuc$king troll. If he's a nobody how did you end up here watching this video.

  • Seriously, if you don't think george was any kind of musician why don't you take another look at the music he contributed with The Beatles.

  • R.I.P George Harrison February 25, 1943 - November 29, 2001

your music will always be remembered

    peace and love

  • THE BEST BEATLE BY FAR

  • RIP George. Love from The Moons xx

  • Hard to believe 10 years ago the world lost one of the greatest guitarists of all time and a former Beatle: George Harrison. You are still missed 10 years later :(

  • 10 years........Rest in peace, Dear George ♥

  • Sorry, but what is all this myth-making? George was a nice guy but he was hardly a musical titan. Largely a support musician for John and Paul (like Ringo), George later confused himself for an equal. Has anybody else noticed that every 5 or 10 years we are manipulated by magazines, TV (HBO), radio and even YouTube (they run ads too now) to buy Beatle music we already have ALL OVER AGAIN? Watch...5 years from now we'll all suddenly discover RINGO was a musical "genius" too!

  • Rest In Peace, George! I'm playing your music now all day, and I will continue doing so untill far in the night...

  • Comment removed

  • 10 years... oh my god... THANKS GEORGE

  • ♥ George!

  • 10 years without you on the material world

but 10 years living even with your love and energy

Thanks for all. You have changed my world touching somewhere in my soul

    We love you.

With our love we will save the world

  • George Forever ...... 1943 - 2001

  • George i never forget you :*

  • one of those all time greats.....

  • Such a great song

  • How could anyone vote to "dislike" this song? Fu*#ing idiots....

  • Simply beautiful...

  • @MrRobertDallasJames

oh give me a break, show respect for the talented late Beatle. Yeah I was shocked to learn about his bedroom activities although I never expected him to be squeaky clean. The fact he may have bypassed loverboys Paul and John in conquests states he wasn't that Quiet at all just private. Georgie did kiss the girls and made them cry.

  • Awesome song and takes me back to 3rd grade....today just listening to it makes me feel better when I start to feel down.....which is why I can't understand a certain person who insists on arguing with people about George!! Everyone please ignore that "two useless legs" guy....he's obviously unhappy and should listen to death metal instead. Enjoy the song people!!!

  • @smokepuroful - Have you noticed that George is the only Beatle who has (or needs) fulltime GATE KEEPERS like you? One never sees this kind of SPIN on Lennon videos. It's an telling thing that the BEST THING you can say about George is that he was "UNDERRATED". Which is really just code for "why don't people like him like I do"? I remind you that George's new (only) documentary skipped theaters and went straight to cable TV. A failure considering it was a Scorsese film about a Beatle!
  • @TwoUselessLegs He kicks arse and is definitely not underrated. One of the top 10 musicians of all time in my book and the great thing is no one can argue with that because everyone has different taste and that is what makes humans so interesting.

  • This song brought me so much peace while living in the projects of the south side of Chicago. My sister and I loved the sound of seventies rock.

  • I have had more enjoyment playing along with this video than any other song I have ever played with. I thank Harrison from the bottom of my heart. He has made my life much more tolerable and I love him for this song. One of the greatest.

  • People please,This is music for listening enjoyment.Dont you brats have anything else to do besides argue

  • <3

  • Wonderful video... thanks so much! <3

  • After My Sweet Lord, this song is tied with What is Life as my 2nd favorite George song (even taking into account all his Beatles songs)

  • Love this song, George was so humble and is missed to the world

  • Poor George! The more he tried to prove he was an EQUAL to John and Paul...the more he proved the opposite!

  • @TwoUselessLegs How sadly uninformed you are. Without George Harrisons "influence" on the other Beatles with regards to spritual awareness, the Beatles, in their latter day both collectively and individually would have all been very different people and musicians. John Lennon may not have been able to write Instant Karma without being introduced to the far eastern mystical beliefs George was into long before any of the other Beatles. John and Paul were the technique, George the soul.

  • @SallieJos and ringo was a cunt of a drummer

  • @SallieJos - "Spiritual" awareness? George lived

    in a 120-room mansion, a race-car collection, he

bulldozed 100s of environmentally sensitive trees

to build his 2nd estate in Hawaii (I guess 120 rooms

wasn't big enough)? While he lectured you and I on

things like HEALTH, George literally SMOKED HIM-

SELF TO DEATH. One cigarette at a time. John's natural

intelligence and curiosity in all things means John

would have found his OWN spiritual path. George is a

    footnote in music history!

  • @TwoUselessLegs I never say this, but "get a life, man." Or, simply just grow the fuck up.

  • @TwoUselessLegs So if George Harrison is just a footnote in music history, and maybe you're right...where does that leave you?

  • @SuperSizmo , HAPPY!

  • @TwoUselessLegs ...Yeah, I guess he proved he was purely a magical musician. You're right, he was not really like the other two when he stepped out onto his own. There was always a part of George in every one of his songs, rather than it just being a song to sell records.

  • @PaulDavidHewson1 - Where did all this myth making

about George start? For the whole of his life he couldn't

get respect. While the world did its best to deify Lennon

McCartney...poor George couldn't attract flies. Now, all of

a sudden George is some kind of musical genius? Certainly

George tried to put EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that

popped to music (Crackerbox Palace) but that doesn't make

a great musician. George struggled with music while it came

    easy to John and Paul

    <
