Thanks for replying to my Question dashloc now i know what SNCF's been up to Building brand new trains for the Paris-Strassbourg LGV but imagine this if you can a type of TGV that would run into London St Pancras although it would take away patronage from Eurostar trains but it sounds like a good idea though especially that the HS1 route from the Channel tunnel is cleared for that and maybe thalys trains too

Brilliant footage as always Dashloc but can i ask what with the TGV power cars i mean i've seen some that you would find at each end of single deck TGV stock but they are at each end of double deck TGV stock in other words Single deck powers hauling double deck cars is it a new generation TGV or something

@DKS225, Thank you. The classic TGV single deck whit duplex engines had just fews years, were built for the "LN6 LGV Est".

The Technology inside the engines is totally different than the classic duplex, thos TGV POS have asynchron engines, the duplex ( double decker had synchron engines). The brand new DASYE TGV, have duplex coach and POS engines !

I was on the TGV in 2007 from Marseille to Paris, and back. Was a BIG thrill! The train was SO fast (and comfortable), and the beauty of the French Countryside is something I will never forget. Thanks again for posting this wonderful videos! Bye from New York!
