This is only a crisis because the republicans made it one. We would have had no threat to our AAA rating if they hadn't delayed and made this debt ceiling vote somehow associated with deficit policy. The time for budget talks is when you're making the budget, not when you're talking about paying the bills you have already charged. Ludicrous. @insylogo Not true, the AAA rating downgrade has little to do with the ceiling rather it is Washington's long term behavior about expanding it's debt, borrowing, & spending past it's revenue you know the money it brings in from taxes. Right now were are borrowing 40% of what were spending. Would you loan money to someone who already owes you shit load of money & is borrowing 40% of his payment from the guy down the street?
