Best version is by Fedor Chalapine. Lia Origoni is still fantastic. But Chalapine was better than all others.

The best version cannot be that guy. In my opinion, the best version has yet been recorded. Take the emotion and great pronounciation of Lia Origoni, and blend it with the smoothe pure voice of Alma Gluck, and there you have perfection.

A voice perhaps not like we hear sung today. The style is quite refreshing. The words are so clear, the vibratto very charming. Lovely. Thank you.
