  • 7 gypsies will go to hell back to ROMAnia.

  • Oldskool is still alive thank you

  • best band ever

  • @LeSauniere :-)

  • This video went viral on Lima

  • had to be 667 likes not the one before..

  • does anyone know what year this came out. (The Strawberry 57)?

  • @TheStrawberry57 1971 I think.First on the album Very Heavy,Very Humble.

  • Remember the days when being a musician actually required having some talent?? God I miss those days!!

  • @AttilatheThrilla That was a pretty close minded comment...

  • @Noizeing fuck off yea pre-teen lol

  • @AttilatheThrilla haha, way to call someone a pre-teen while sounding like a fucking twelve year old. for the record, it was a close-minded comment, the type of ill-informed shit you expect hear from some nostalgic fool who hasn't bought a record since Brothers in Arms.

  • @conventgsp Seriously. There is a shitload of music that requires a ton of talent and creativity. The problem is that now adays it generally is NOT the garbage that plays on the radio/MTV/VH1. You cannot trust the industry to offer you good music, you have to actually look for it. His comment was very broad and arrogant, and quite frankly ignorant as hell.

  • Six Gypsies are offended by this song. LMFAO!!!

  • @Hammered001 More likely six pussies

  • Un'ottimo pezzo hard rock, ma gli U.H. non erano al livello dei Deep Purple o Led Zeppelin o Black Sabbath......quest'ultimi erano di un'altro pianeta.

  • Heavy metal vom Feinsten - nur "Lady in Black" is Gejaule

  • Gypsy Generation.

    Ultimate-Uriah.

  • @Jogi9Jogi Theres alot of good music today. But music will never be as good as good old Heavy Metal! Thats something thats hard to find nowadays.

  • so many views and just 6 dislikes... Uriah Heep ROCKS :)

  • swietny nie starzejacy sie zespol !

  • uhm....I don't know why i always feel compelled to make this point I realize I will be forever kicking water uphill, BUT, i have to say it.. There is good music still being made, you just have to look for it, music isn't getting suckier, people are, bands that have style and talent don't stand a chance anymore, so they fall by the wayside... its out there LOOK, FIND IT, it won't be handed to you, and its different than what your expecting.

  • @TheSnather very well said

  • @Forvolet thank you!

  • @gregboyds FUCK YOU!!!

  • Look up Raging Speedhorn's cover of this....

  • @gregboyds Cock!

  • Wow! Thank God...I've come up with this video of Heep, which I was crazy about

    roughly 40 years ago!

  • I just discovered this band...holy cow I think im in love haha

  • I used to listen to this a long time ago- like 2005.

Gee, I've kind of forgot how it goes. It's been so long.

  • Song starts at 1:05

  • @CiderFeet1 noooo the beginning is the best

  • My favourite song by Uriah Heep, even though it suffers from what I like to call Seventies' Syndrome (half the song being a solo).

  • @Kerrandrius thats the best bit about it

  • @Kerrandrius

If it's done right, like in this and most other songs like this, it's AWESOME!!!! Look at July Mourning, the last half of the song is all organ solo, really really bad ass organ solo!

  • Classic !

  • Can someone please tell me which kind of effects pedal is being used with the Organ for the intro of this song (0:00-0:10)?

  • @ureadmymind you could emulate that effect by using a kill switch while using a tight distortion on a guitar

  • @ureadmymind

Probably a wah, or some other sort of modulation.

  • never heard of these guys til now , what an amazing song

  • The first song I ever heard by them forty years ago and still a fan. They still rock!

  • great video and song thank you very much

  • R.I.P. David Byron

  • Ottimo gusto, sinceramente ottimo gusto. Grazie per aver postato questo video con un audio più che buono.

  • One of my Favorite bands . Saw them a lot in early 70's Germany

  • Very... Sabbath Bloody Sabbath esque.... fantastic song and a fantastic band, they're great with Russ too :D

  • @JamesStorey09 Except that this was released three years before Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. So Sabbath would have gotten inspiration for Sabbath Bloody Sabbath from this rather than the other way around.

  • @hermygagala Thanks man, didn't know that :) learn something every day lol. :D

  • @JamesStorey09 No problem man. Rock on.

  • @JamesStorey09 Probably one of the most underrated metal bands early.

  • classic, remember seeing these in the 70s at the Fairfield Halls In Croydon

    just listen ^^

  • i really love it :)

  • ta ta ta taaaaaaaaaa tututuuuuuuututuuutututtatatatatataatatatatat.......tatatttaaaaaaaaaaaaaatututututututututututttuuuuttttttuuuutttuuu---->lyrics for the music in this song totally owned everything !!!!!!!!! :)

  • When I heard Wolfmother, I was like, yeah......

  • Good God ......I had forgotten about this album ....thanks !

  • most of the peoplethat only know lady in black dont even know that Heep is MEtal...OMG without Heep there would probably only be crushin guitars on stage shit

  • You're I a heap. Mofo.

  • Seen 2010,Minneapolis,MN.... Noticed Aug14th 2011 Rochester MN 2011 Hell Yes.

  • @Jogi9Jogi Iron Maiden.... only one standing....4 great CD's and 2 live DVD's since 2000.....seen them 7 times since then....better than ever....try the Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg.....see what I mean

  • Met Mick a few months ago.One hell of a great guy.The whole band was totally cool. Gracious guys for being an ass kicking band!

  • I saw them in December in Switzerland. Still awesome!!

  • wooooaaahhh :D

  • un brano eccezionale |||

  • @Jogi9Jogi You are lucky you have ACDC there... In Brazil, it's rap, samba and fucking EMOCORE.

  • I SAW THEM LIVE TWICE (EARLY 70'S) AND BOTH CONCERTS WERE BRILLIANT. I HAVE THE VERY EAVY, VERY UMBLE ALBUM (ONE OF MY FAVOURITE TRACKS ON IT) THIS WHEN DAVID BYRON WAS THE LEAD SINGER (PITY HE DIED QUITE YOUNG - ALONG WITH GARY THAIN) DEMONS AND WIZARDS IS ALSO AN EXCELLENT ALBUM THE CURRENT LINE-UP DO GOOD VERSIONS OF THISAND OTHER SONGS LIKE "LOOK AT YOURSELF" (HEARING THAT FIRST GOT ME INTO THEIR MUSIC.

  • I saw them back in the '70's with Manfred Mann's Earth Band. What a concert. It was like a night of keyboard heaven!

  • Everytime i hear this i think of a radio show called Beeker Street with Clyde Clifford

out of Little Rock. Ark. KAAY. Me and my friends use to drive around all night and listen to that show up in North Wisconsin. Thank You Clyde.

  • Thats the reason why.........

  • deep purple cubed

  • your eye a heap. no, your eye a heap. motherfucker!

  • bel' lavoro su musica mitica... grazie

  • One of the best bands to come out of the 70s and I think this is there best cut. Bought the album then and still got it. Pay me 10 million and you get to listen to it... LOL

  • king of the organ solos

  • organ solo sounds like inconceivable hell

  • Bad, that Uriah Heep has had a manager hoe treadet them like shit in this time. Every six month a new album, no vacance, allways in studio or touring. Show me one other band that must suffered like this guys. In 1974 they all had a burnout, than the death of Gary Thain. Gerry Bron told Ken Hensley to compose poppy songs, than David was fired. At least Ken leave the band in 1980. It was Mick Box - he keep on trying and trying...and respect for the new album "Wake The Sleeper" .

  • @uweoehlke Grand Funk Railroad. 2 albums/tours a year from 69 to 76. In 72 they lost everything but the name to their asshole of a manager. Apparently, they weren't too smart though. He says the contract would been up in another three months when they fired him and was able to sue for breach.

Queen, who did a song for theirs (Death On Two Legs)

Many bands get ripped off by their management.

Not that I don't feel for Uriah Heep. This is a great band.

  • ohh yea, you can tell the scorps, rush, sabbath, UFO were influenced...

  • This song is simply great. I just cannot understand why Uriah Heep started to make such an awful music in the 80's!

A Amicofriz95: Io voglio sapere se ti piace l'opera L'amico Fritz di Pietro Mascagni. Io penso che é un'opera bellissima.

  • i just dislike the versions where the intro is cut away. that one is nice!

  • Great song and group. They were way ahead of their time. I bought this album when it 1st came out.

  • They influenced early Rush and UFO.

  • i love this song since i was a little girl

  • @Rock4Life1991Babe Me too. Now I am a grown man I look back fondly on those days.

  • Hahahaha this would make a great book....

  • From the first album...their best album...they never sounded like this, although salisbury, look at yourself, demons & wizards and magicians birthdey are really good aswell

  • I love this song :D

  • Wow! it's like 'return to the future'. I remembered this band (Huriah Heep) and they have it on YouTube. Boring to the first minute, then heavy, then electronic at 4 minutes,a minute of heavy again and then noise. What a band!

  • i dont care what anybody says, mick box ripped the rock world a new asshole.

  • very good song.

  • fantasica da raggazino questa canzone portava euforia

  • Anyone who says the Heepsters can't rock your socks off just needs to hear their incredible debut album, because even though they are still a phenomenal band, they toned it way down for the rest of their albums that followed. :o)

  • Maaaaaaaaaan i remember this song....my dad blowing it loud on the car stereo on a cassette while driving around.....makes me drip a tear!!!!

  • ALEXANDRE DUMAS PERE WROTE OVER 400 HISTORICAL NOVELS EXPOSING WORLD TYRANNY(ROMAN Catholic empire). in his own words his first purpose in writing was to instruct and then to amuse. He was an historian acting through the medium of novelist.

  • very sehr gooot

  • alxderock Great music n lyrics as well! Thx 4 posting it.

  • Great fucking riff'

  • very underrated song

  • 0:39 is awesome

  • UP were classed as prog rockers but also early metal or hard rock because of songs like gypsy queen, stealin', look at yourself, and especially the underrated rainbow demon. They have never received their just rewards in the annals of rock and roll history as far as I'm concerned and I'm waiting for the day that their contribution to great rock music is finally recognized.

  • great

  • An old woman tells me no lies, she said: Need to have sex with strangers," to find out what, this, is all about.

  • la version en vivo con el cantante rubio es mil veces mejor

  • pure beast

  • :50 to 1:03 reminds me of Genghis Khan, by Iron Maiden.

  • 0:39 seconds...Awesome.... =O

  • used to listen to this tune all the time back in da 70's. still luv it.

  • Ke spettacolo!! Mitici

  • Yes. This is good. Off "Very Heavy Very Humble". This was their first of many albums with fantastic art work on them.Oh yea, turn it up and play it loud.

  • Uriah Heep helped rise heavy metal.

  • actually uriah heep is actually classed as prog rock.

  • @gyodaimairlon

    and led zeppelin made metal

  • @pussbuketnott06 Motorhead made metal, zep created the bridge between rock and blues, page and plant will deny to there death that they had anything to do with heavy metal, i watched the Bio last night, sabbath created metal, and lemmy made it heavy

  • a milestone in rock music

  • 100% perfect.

  • Uriah Heep Rock

  • This is it. The very first song that Box, Byron, Hensley recorded together. Hensley walked in the studio during the recording of 'Melinda', then they started on this one. The rest is history.

  • this so fuckin good man, im just about to play it for the 57th time

  • This band rocks

  • Very cool pics, even when some guys didn't actually play in the studio version. Anyway, it's quite hard to find good photos of Uriah Heep's mark I. Thanks for posting it.
