As a subscriber I encourage you to carry on. You have hopefully encouraged originality in design and in-place-camouflage. Because of increasing age and declining strength and endurance, I don't do as many of the "excursion" types as I once did, but I can enjoy vicarious journeys. Keep on caching, and sharing experiences.
have to say, i noticed your vids, and it introduced me to a new world! i should be out this weekend with any luck to find my first one! dont stop because people dont like it... you only know your a success when you start getting negative feedback!
Hey sven, i don't think your doing harm at all... i never knew about geocaching until you mentioned it on one of your green lane videos. I have heard of it, but never knew what it was. I thought it was something to do with geotagging? But then i watched some videos and i think this is the best idea ever, It gets people out more. You haven't displayed or mentioned your location's on your videos so i say carry on! Im going to get into geocaching, in fact i think i may go find my first one now!!
The owners of the caches you highlight do not understand what your audience is seeing in your videos. They don't realize that through your videos they are reaching a HUGE audience of FANS! FANS of THEIR caches!!!!! What idiots. True idiots.
I would LOVE for you to video one of my caches! The purpose I have for placing a cache is to entertain people. Through your channel, I would be able to entertain that many more people. The owners of the caches you highlight do not understand what your audience is seeing in your videos. They don't realize that through your videos they are reaching a HUGE audience of FANS! FANS of THEIR caches!!!!! What idiots. True idiots.
Please don't close this channel. I have challenged my geometry students to a geocaching challenge. Each team will design a cache to hide and we will be watching to see who gets the most visits, fave points,...Your channel is one I am showing them for inspiration. :-)
This is an awesome channel. It gives me inspiration to get out caching as well as inspiring ideas for laying my own. If you were to video my caches (a little out of your area anyway) I would be honoured. I think it's great. I agree - If I didn't like it I would not watch. Simple!
don't give up the great work you are doing for a few people complaining. You hit the nail on the head with the statement "If you don't like it don't look at it". It is like television or radio if you don't like what you see change the channel.
My thoughts about it is as long as you are not giving away the gc# and the location then I do not see any problem. I hope the GS get's their head out of their ass and sees this as promotion to gain more new Geocachers which puts more money in their pocket
i geocache and have always watched your vids plus find it very interesting . i can see why ppl from around you might get upset but as you say it says it in your name so dont watch ....anyway i enjoy your vids and i know loads more do so keep doing them and a big thumbs up from me :) im not a full member to gs yet was going to put my hand in my pocket after xmas and pay for it but mmmm do i really want to give a big organisation money when they do this to the little ppl us lol
Yeah, I see your point now. I just saw that GS banned you. That sucks and I think it sucks that people complained to GS. Oh well, I hope you find a way to continue. I don' t think GS should have any domain outside of what they are doing, which is publishing geocaches. They are growing in the wrong direction right now. I think that if I had a personal issue with any of your videos, I would take it up with you as a private matter, not try to silence you completely by going to GS.
This is a poor analogy "@MONTAG56 Sure, some people don't like people driving cars down their road. But they also don't have adequate justification for asking me not to. Neither do you, imho." Justification and being polite are two different subjects. No one can justify asking you to remove a video. That is your free speech. But if you're asking people which I thought this video was about, and complying, then you are being polite.
@MONTAG56 no, but the point is it doesn't matter what you do, or how you do it, someone wont like it. There's plenty of people who think geocaching damages the environment for example.
Baffling? Justification? What's the point of posting this video anyway? Are you asking for dialog or just trying to out your critics? What's baffling to me is when you ask questions like "@MONTAG56 but how am I spoiling their caches exactly? I don't mention the GC number, so nobody knows where the hell they are." Dude, your name is geocacheSPOILERS!
Please also let me add that I do support what you are doing. Your videos are very entertaining and I agree with many other posters who say that you inspire them in many ways. I just thought that you should know my opinion as a CO, that maybe you should show some sensitivity to any COs who think you may have ruined their cache by posting an explicit video of it.
@MONTAG56 Sure, some people don't like people driving cars down their road. But they also don't have adequate justification for asking me not to. Neither do you, imho.
There are 1,592,490 active geocaches and over 5 million geocachers worldwide. My videos get a couple of thousand views at best.....I'm sure your maths is better than mine but the chance of someone local to you seeing the video aren't even worth talking about.
I am not asking you to remove any videos. But to answer your question, if you posted a video of one of my hides, my justification for ASKING you to remove it is simple: please don't reveal my clever hide. I don't want the public to see it, I want geocachers to have to find it on their own. Revealing it here takes away some of the authenticity, the mystery and the hard work that I put into making my hides worth finding.
It's the local aspect. Please don't get me wrong, I don't think you should stop. I guess my point is, if a CO asks you to remove a video because it reveals his/her cache hide, then I think you should. If you were in Northern Virginia and showed a video of one of my hides, giving away how/where it is hidden, I would ask you to remove it. Anyone complaining that isn't a CO is just a troll and you're "if you don't like it don't watch" argument works.
I like your videos. I don't agree with the "if you don't like it, don't look at it" statement. I don't think that is why people are upset. COs are upset because you are spoiling caches, not that your videos are offensive or something. So, that argument just doesn't fit. We show the GC code but we take care not to show the container (without the CO's consent) or to not spoil a clever hide. If a CO asked us to remove a video log for his/her cache, we would immediately remove it.
This is the first time I've seen this hobby in action, and I have to say....IT LOOKS LIKE FUN! =) Keep on making videos, and others will start participating in this magnificently fun pass time.
I for one would be honored to be spotlighted in one of your videos, even if you lived in my neck of the woods. But I can also see why your local community might be somewhat upset. In a perfect world, people who live near you wouldnt want to ruin the finding experience, but the world isnt perfect. Cache placers want the satisfaction of a few DNFs and then nice replies for a job well done placing a cache. If I know the secret, there is no reason to write more than TFTC TNLN SL in the log. Aaron.rn
First off. Im very very pleased to have found your channel. Thank you for the time youre putting in. You are showing what geocaching is supposed to look like, and like you said....GEOTRASH SUCKS!
If people took a little time to think before putting out caches our guardrails wouldnt be littered with pill bottles and innocent rock piles wouldn't be littered with un-camofloged plastic boxes. Geotrash takes up real estate on the geoMap and keeps well thought out caches from being placed.
You are causing no harm to other people or property.Like you say you keep the caches identity secret.Geocaching is open to the public and as a result anyone can film a cache being found.its not like you film them all, only the best ones.I too am boared of 35mm film containers at the bottom of fence posts, and have just placed my final on like that. From now on its crafty all the way!
I say keep the channel going, I discovered geocahing via you tube and I was blown away that the world is a treasure hunt :) I got addicted watching your videos and decided to watch one from my area in Canada.... seeing a local one did give me a feeling of sadness so now I will refuse to watch them and stick to overseas videos.
Since I am new and have yet to find my first, I am trying to see what to look for and perhaps for ideas of what to make ... keep the videos coming ^_^
You never mention the cache name or the location - and your channel's name makes no bones about the fact that you will see spoilers. I see no problem with this at all - people have a choice to either watch or not. We watch your videos here in Australia and it has given us some great ideas that we plan to copy...because we're not clever enough to come with such genius ourselves! :) Keep it open...all hours!
this video is uh... fine cause nobody watches it... caches are for people who are really nerdy and harmless. I see no reason why this pathetic channel should stop cause I want to tell all my buddies about this crap so we all can have a laugh at your expense. I think you probably will erase this but I couldn't careless. Oh no! lol
@BlueMacGyver Wow... You are a "NERD"... I've seen your channel. This isn't even nerdy, but building garage sawmills is. It is a fun pass time, and an excuse to get out, and be creative. So please Shut up.
seriously!?!?!? i have been subbed to you moto channel for a long time and i randomly stumbled on these videos and was like WOW this guys sounds like sven, should i comment and tell him to check out his channel? and then I saw this... lol
I am very new to geocaching and have really enjoyed your videos and have even garnered inspiration from them to get creative and place a few of my own. I totally argee that if locals dont want spoilers then it should be obvious they shouldnt watch your videos. It's pretty simple. Thanks so much for sharing your videos.
I just started watching your videos tonight. I think I've almost watched all of them now. I didn't know what you were doing (and right now I am still guessing really). I think it is like a treasure hunt of sorts. I am thinking of starting, it looks very interesting. I would not take down the videos. You don't give anything away.
If you don't give the coordinates or video the surrounding area in detail then press on friend. I would think most would be excited to be featured. Great fun for singles and family. Good job. :)
All of your points make sense! I am from the US so I really don't mind. I see what they mean by asking permission, but you don't give out GC codes, names or areas. I find you point about expressing cool geocaches. If you have a problem with it... bug off and just don't watch it.
I love looking at the very creative caches and would love to place some of them around my neighborhood! Thank you for sharing your adventures! I hope you continue to have such success so I can continue to get some great ideas! I've seen some pretty creative and clever hides but nothing like the majority of these! Thank you!

You're doing a great job. Your videos are helpful to new comers to the game who need a visual representation to understand what and where a cache could be. It helps to see what a cache "could" look like. :-)
Hi. I am new to geocaching and been looking at these videos like yours to get ideas and whatnot for when i start planting Geocaches. Stumbled upon your channel from the suggestions button. Now i see this video and you are talking about maybe closing the channel because some local GeoCachers. I say DONT! You stated previous like your name states geocachespoilers but they are far from that because you don't actually say the the coordinates or the actual GZ. Dont give in, keep on !!!
I do not see how your videos could be giving anything away, I am new to geocaching and like to watch the video and commented on another one of your about having some health problems so there are a lot of caches I could not get to see other wise. It is a one in a billion shot that anyone would see your video then be out and say oh I remember that tree from the video. I also like seeing the different ideas, because like you said geotrash, I love finding animals, rocks and alike, Thanks
Came across your channel as it came up for discussion on a local geocaching forum.. Immediately passed the link to all my friends (geocachers and muggle alike) and I think it's fantastic!
I am from the Midlands and have only viewed a few of the videos but have found the majority so far.. Loved spotting them and shouting "Found that one!"
What would I think of you filming mine? I'd consider it an honour!
So please keep it up, looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos!
I am a newbie geocacher and I love seeing the great hiding spots you show. It helps to give you an idea on where to look for caches (especially the very small ones)
I film caches too, and I don't see anything wrong with it.
I just found your channel and am hoping you don't cave to criticism. There will always, always, be whiners and negativity I'm afraid, although I have no idea why anyone would feel the need to control your channel and it's content.
This is YOUR channel. Enough said. i hope you'll continue.
I, for one, only became interested in geocaching because of your channel. (Granted, I'm US and therefore nowhere near you, but whatever). I'd known a great deal about geocaching but never really was interested in it, until I saw some of your videos and saw how very clever some of the caches may be. So, your channel has worked as intended, and to hell with everyone else.
I've only read a handful of the comments but the mood seems to be carry on and ignore the moaners. I agree with them I live in the East Mids and I think your channel is excellent. Keep it up.
You should NOT remove the channel. I come here looking for good idea's to implement in my own caches. I would have NO problem if you videoed my caches, in fact I'd be proud.
If people don't want see a "spoiler", then they should turn away when confronted with a channel labeled as such. Don't blame your lack of self discipline on others. It's not rocket science.
I don't even know where you are but considering your accent you are not in the U.S. I am in the U.S and I LOVE your videos simply for giving me ideas on hiding caches in our area. Please don't shut down this channel. If people don't want to watch the videos then they don't have to. It is as simple as that!! Keep up the videos. I just discovered this channel today and have been only caching for a little over a month and love it. Love the ideas you are showing us.
No way, don't close it. I am from Spain and I realy enjoy the creativity of this comunity. As a geocacher, this only inspires and motivates me to create more and better caches.
Just don't reveal the locations and keep catching
Oh hell no. Don't give in. I love the sharing of creativity out there. There is so much repetitious cache placing out there its nice to see something fresh. And it's not a spoiler at all! If anything it serves to pump up the creative juices.
As you say, the web is a big place. But we live in the small world around us. For some people it's about the numbers, so they will purposefully use cheats. Their loss.
My letter would demand that you keep informing the general public in your lovely and entertaining manner.
I just found your channel today and was totally engrossed. I watched the unusual plant one about 4 times! I enjoy seeing the clever hides. Some I've seen before, some I've not. Gives me great ideas for when I finally get 'round to hiding one myself! I love geocaching and I enjoy sharing it with others. Contrary to what your username says, I don't think you're actually "spoiling" the caches. But, I'm in the United States, so probably won't ever attempt to find them. Thanks for sharing!
I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiment about people spoiling it for themselves. I'm sure a very small amount of your subscribers are from the area that you geocache in, and for those who are, simply don't watch. It's not worth depriving a thousand fans of your content because of people with no self control.
Anyway, thanks for friending me! I just found your channel and it's great. Definitely keep it up.
I am a geocacher in Minnesota, USA and I love your videos. They are short and just highlight good caches which is cool. I hope to use some of the ideas locally, making caching better for all. I appreciate that you do not share the GC codes or give info of where you are. Please keep making the videos.
LOVE your channel, great caches. I'm in the US, so I'll probably never see any of those caches, but I've gotten great ideas from your page. Thanks for fighting the good fight, and keep it up! P.S. - You have a great speaking voice and are quite eloquent, so keep it up -- don't let "The Man" get you down. ;-)
Sven I am one of the people that has been introduced to GeoCaching by you, I found my first 3 out of 4 yesterday. I do'n;t mind watching you're videos as you are not local to me, also I enjoy watching them as I have followed you from you're other YouTube channel and watching these videos to alomst give us a small snap shot of you're life. I laughed hard when you send our American friend up the tree to fetch the treasure as you stayed safe on the ground "-" keep them coming mate, take care.
I like seeing what else is out there. Some of the caches shown give me ideas to bring to the game where I live. Someone made a video of one of my hides and I liked it. It didn't give anything away. I'd love to find them all to see how other cachers are thinking but since I can't, this gives me a window to see caches I might never find. Watching these videos doesn't spoil anything for me.
I think you should not close it. The other side of the story is what you've mentioned. Introduce geocaching to other people! I've tried to find a few around hee in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) - just locally - and just found ONE! An easy one... Looking at your channel, it opened my eyes to possibilities and how short minded I was on looking for things!
It's something not well spread in Brazil and also, GPS options for that are still scarce!
It is awesome and inspiring to see these caches . . . lots of fun and something for all of us to learn. I think you are presenting these caches in a very fun, interesting and tasteful manner.
I am a german watcher of this channel. I get an invite to it and I realy like it, cause of the great GC hiding ideas. This ideas might getting the GC better. And the showing in this channel I found good an ok.
In the newest video from gc.com, a german lostplace, groundspeak spoilers too and all know where the cache is. If groundspeak can do this, you can do this too. But you do it better, cause noch gc code is there. Go on, I like this videos.
keep the videos coming... it is no different than someone typing a "spoiler" on the caches page... as a matter of fact what you are doing is better because it doens't tell you what cache it is. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! and also it give us cachers in the US good ideas for unique hides state side! DONT CLOSE THE CHANNEL
One guy here says "We all use the same game pieces, but we're all playing different games". Some folks have to climb the tree to log the find, others are happy to yell "sign my name too" from the shore of the lake or whatever. ;-)
So if your locals want to watch your videos, that's certainly their choice, but they've got no rights to complain about what they say.
I live in Dallas, Texas and love watching your videos because you film some very clever caches. There's not much chance I'll ever hunt any of the ones you've filmed, and if you lived in Dallas, I certainly wouldn't be interested in watching.
I agree with all that you're saying (and just *knew* that you'd turn into a local geocaching support guru for the newbies). Folks that are local to you and are watching your channel have no one to blame but themselves if they've seen a spoiler.
I think the fact that you don't show where you are at, the GC code and the Spoiler thing in your name is fine, like a few others said, it gives ideas for more challenging caches. I highly doubt I'm going to be figuring out where exactly your caching, and come running across the "big pond" to just get my numbers up.
I actually started recording my adventures, however I leave blank parts in the hike so you only get bits and pieces.
I watch this channel to see new Ideas for geocaches to hide. Because you never say witch caches it are and where they were find, I don´t see the problem of this channel. Maybe if you are an local you can recognize the places, but I´m from Holland and have no idea where you have been filming. So keep on going with this channel!!!
I say keep it up. As several people have pointed out, your channel name is geocacheSPOILERS. That should give people enough warning. Even GroundSpeak themselves create videos for some rather difficult caches and post the GC codes along with them. There are plenty of other channels out there that do just what you do. Don't let a few comments bother you, the vast majority of your viewers are with you and enjoy your videos.
If you don't give away to location in the video, the cache name, or coordinates, you should be able to have the fun you are having doing what you're doing. Some people are too uptight.
I'm a veteran cacher and I don't think you're in the wrong at all. Like you said it says "spoilers". So If they don't want to spoil their hunt then they shouldn't watch. I like watching these to get ideas for my area.
I really do enjoy your videos, it gives other geocachers like us great idea for geocache hides in our area. So I would have to say, don't close the channel. There are always other people to cause problems or stir up conflicts no matter where you are. Don't give into the locals in your area a chance to do great things for other geocachers. your videos are great for helping other people understand different geocache hides and what to look for. Keep on cachin.
I'd prefer you kept it open. I'm not local to you, but it's given me interest in getting into geocaching. IMO the hundreds of people you might make interested across the internets could be more beneficial than upsetting a few people.
Watched your primary channel for years, just discovered this one through your twitter. Looking forward to going through your backlog.
I love your channel. In fact it has inspired my to be a little more creative in my hides. and I think you said it perfectly If you don't want spoilers don't watch. Keep up the good job. Michigan USA
I've posted some videos of some stages of some of my caches. I believe your disclaimers should be sufficient, but I am not local to your area. Your videos have brought to light some techniques I would like to use in future caches of my own.
To answer your other questions, If you were in my area I view these with more thought on have I all ready found these one. I would love you to video one of my caches for many reasons. One: at least you found it worth to be video meaning it was not trash. Two: It would spread my idea to thousands of people for they can too set up a cache like it. Three: I love people to see my hard work and if someone half way across the world saw it that is awesome in my books.
I agree with you here the whole way. The locals just need to get a grip. Your channel is helping thousands of geocachers see these caches for themselves who in other chances would never be able find them on their own. I find this channel welcome and wonderful because I get to see caches that are rare and usual. I have no idea where these caches are or who you are, so if I ever find a video cache It may not dawn on me you put it on here first.
OMG some locals are so stressy jeez.... i bet no one has found them because of your videos, it's their choice anyway if they look at them or not! I like the channel its fun and interesting don't close it! I wouldn't mind if my cache was featured at all it would be cool! Everyone please thumb up my comment so the locals can see it and it will be seen! What are their reasons and where is the proof?...
that's silly, the videos don't show anything that would generate a sudden logjam of found. Yeah, maybe keep the shot tight so that you have no landmarks to identify. I hate nothing more than poor urban micros and enjoy watching creative hides. Keep it up!
I like the channel. I would be honoured if somebody featured one of my geocaches because they thought it was creative. I don't believe your doing anything wrong. Keep it up. These videos give me ideas for future caches and help others to not go the easy route and hide a 35mm film canister.
I post spoiler videos of my own caches on youtube. Why should only local geocachers have fun of my idears? I hope someone copy my caches elsewhere in the world. This channel provide the same service. - But I do agree you might consider starting each video with a warning for the area where the cache is located.
I can see the locals being upset.... thats why when I go to do a geocaching video, I'm posting a warning on the beginning of the video that it may contain spoilers if you are local to me
I think you should keep the channel. You are right, cachers who don't want caches potentially spoiled should not view videos from a channel named "Geocachespoilers". It's common sense. I personally enjoy seeing the innovative caches that are placed. It gives inspiration!
What you are doing is good and not wrong. DON'T LISTEN TO THE TROLLS!! I mean if you go to geocache site you can click "spoiler" and they give you hints.. You shouldn't even have to explain yourself to these jerks.
Ignore the haters. You give no clues as to where or what these caches are. But you demonstrate to ALL just how cunning and clever some hides can be, which will get some interested in the game. If there are those who don't want to know then they simply need to ignore your channel. I say to these people, "Jog on, stop your whining, and get a life!" I include many of your vids in one of my playlists, and now even post the odd interesting one I come across as a result of watching your channel.
Great channel. The Swedish gc-community is just like that as well; everything you do will get a negative forum thread. If it is fun or has half a wit, ppl will tell you it is wrong.
dude, you know what... its tottally up to you... If you think Recording Geo Caches is fun then do it... but if it's boring and you don't like doing it then record something els. Lots of people don't like some of my videos but I just do what I think is fun. So it all depends on this: DO YOU LIKE DOING IT OR NOT... DO YOU THINK IT'S A ENTERTAINING HOBBY OR NOT... DO YOU WANT TO DO IT ANYMORE OR NOT,
I agree with everything you said. If you don't like it, don't watch it. You have inspired me to hide more creative caches, and if you did this in my area, it would be fine. As long as you don't give out the GC code, it's perfectly acceptable to video tape caches.

MONTAG56 3 months ago
Please also let me add that I do support what you are doing. Your videos are very entertaining and I agree with many other posters who say that you inspire them in many ways. I just thought that you should know my opinion as a CO, that maybe you should show some sensitivity to any COs who think you may have ruined their cache by posting an explicit video of it.
MONTAG56 3 months ago
@MONTAG56 Sure, some people don't like people driving cars down their road. But they also don't have adequate justification for asking me not to. Neither do you, imho.
There are 1,592,490 active geocaches and over 5 million geocachers worldwide. My videos get a couple of thousand views at best.....I'm sure your maths is better than mine but the chance of someone local to you seeing the video aren't even worth talking about.
svengalie 3 months ago
I am not asking you to remove any videos. But to answer your question, if you posted a video of one of my hides, my justification for ASKING you to remove it is simple: please don't reveal my clever hide. I don't want the public to see it, I want geocachers to have to find it on their own. Revealing it here takes away some of the authenticity, the mystery and the hard work that I put into making my hides worth finding.
MONTAG56 3 months ago
@MONTAG56 Baffling.
svengalie 3 months ago
It's the local aspect. Please don't get me wrong, I don't think you should stop. I guess my point is, if a CO asks you to remove a video because it reveals his/her cache hide, then I think you should. If you were in Northern Virginia and showed a video of one of my hides, giving away how/where it is hidden, I would ask you to remove it. Anyone complaining that isn't a CO is just a troll and you're "if you don't like it don't watch" argument works.
MONTAG56 3 months ago
@MONTAG56 I'm interested, what justification might you have for asking me to remove a video exactly? Why?
svengalie 3 months ago
I like your videos. I don't agree with the "if you don't like it, don't look at it" statement. I don't think that is why people are upset. COs are upset because you are spoiling caches, not that your videos are offensive or something. So, that argument just doesn't fit. We show the GC code but we take care not to show the container (without the CO's consent) or to not spoil a clever hide. If a CO asked us to remove a video log for his/her cache, we would immediately remove it.
MONTAG56 3 months ago
@MONTAG56 but how am I spoiling their caches exactly? I don't mention the GC number, so nobody knows where the hell they are.

Geotrash takes up real estate on the geoMap and keeps well thought out caches from being placed.
cornfedz 4 months ago

Keep up the great work. Cheers!

I live in Dallas, Texas and love watching your videos because you film some very clever caches. There's not much chance I'll ever hunt any of the ones you've filmed, and if you lived in Dallas, I certainly wouldn't be interested in watching.

Only thing might be to include a cache-code, so the person, know which cache it is before they view it??

I say keep it up. As several people have pointed out, your channel name is geocacheSPOILERS. That should give people enough warning. Even GroundSpeak themselves create videos for some rather difficult caches and post the GC codes along with them. There are plenty of other channels out there that do just what you do. Don't let a few comments bother you, the vast majority of your viewers are with you and enjoy your videos.

Your work is appreciated.

Keep it up, it's fun to watch, and full of good ideas for geocaches...

Don't close this channel. It helps the rest of us get ideas for being more creative, AND it is a good way to improve Geocaching as a whole.
wagonman01 7 months ago
...removing the videos and channel would be a fairly bad precedent. Sooo many videos needs to be removed if showing a cache is "illegal".

Keep doing your thing man.

Great channel. The Swedish gc-community is just like that as well; everything you do will get a negative forum thread. If it is fun or has half a wit, ppl will tell you it is wrong.
randomgeocacher 7 months ago
Damn right... your name contains "SPOILERS" so they shouldnt watch it unless they want it SPOILED....DUH
KEEP your channel please!

Yeah, keep it. Plain and simple.

dude, you know what... its tottally up to you... DO YOU WANT TO DO IT ANYMORE OR NOT,
agentcole1 7 months ago
I agree with everything you said. If you don't like it, don't watch it. You have inspired me to hide more creative caches, and if you did this in my area, it would be fine. As long as you don't give out the GC code, it's perfectly acceptable to video tape caches.
