@BOBEAUX5 are u serious dont get me wrong i seen a video of jsu from 95 playing tiger of san pedro and the sound was on point and the disapline but they dont sound like that anymore. cookman has THE best SOUND of any hbcu its balamced and with great tone and no hanging over, more disapline than most and just because you play difficult music dont make more music dont make you musical and volume is not important.

Plus when people think of a black college marching band now, they think of Southern, FAMU, and JSU! Oh, and when you play more difficult music, you are showcasing your band's strengths!

And just because I like SWAC bands better doesn't mean that I'm in one or needs to be included in one! And so that FAMU thing, they may not have been as great as usual but they did not get murdered! Now to Southern, they weren't worse than BCU! Both bands were sounding below par but SU still got in them! You are riding!

@multiflyguy09 dude all swac cares about is how loud they play. just because you donot play loud does not mean that you are good. meac bands are influenced by those pwc bands and some are DCI influenced. and the bands in the meac in my opinion are better. one the bands in the meac play more than just popular radio tunes. in the past they have pulled out some stuff DCI has performed. and the drumlines in the meac are far more advanced than the swac drumlines

Seeing how I was there, it was soo apparent that BCU was the favored band not only on the field but from the crowd response afterwards. No one can not say BCU didnt take the house!

Miles was the only band their that was fun. Miles was fun, hype, entertaining, and they had some hump, something that young people like when going to school for a band. All the other bands were just big and boring. BCU has a great sound, but they are one of the most boring bands in HBCU. State just needs an upgrade. I don't go to Miles and never have.

You dumbfounded as fuck. Cookman did not allow PV to win over their house. Matter of fact when that Toy Box show was going on, the Dome went banas when Cookman marched along the sidelines. SU was drowned out the entire game in 2006. One song from a SWHACK band won't surmount to a whole MEAC show. Beside BCU is a band of Musicians not Fisher Price Toy makers.
