I think ima get me this one, perfect for using it for your studies @ lectures for example but it can also play hd video, you can connect it to your hd tv easily. You're even able to play some (simpler) games on it if you like. Besides, it's got 3 gb memory and 350 gb harddisk with a 1.83 ghz processor. Sounds good to me.

PIece of garbage. my out of the box experience yesterday was a disaster. cursor jumps all over the place, the email client refuses to connect to the server, etc. HP support is closed weekends. I'm taking it back MOnday, and getting my money back. I've never had problems like this in my 20 years of computing.

I bought this HP DM1 model in Singapore last May 4, 2010 and the model comes with 320GB hard disk plus HP External Slim DVD-Writer for SG$700.00 - Sale at Harvey Norman Store. I was impressed as it plays a movie very good as the sound is great - altec lansing speakers. Overall I rate this better than atom cpu for an additional $100 dollars. Very satisfied with the performance.

@NDogg15 a while ago i bought a hp 22 inch monitor hp w2207 or something..had to change it 4 times than wanted my money back. the screen was aweful.there appeared weird symetric lines while moving ur head away or near the screen.

@NDogg15 yes why not.they have a great design..and the issue i had on my LCD is nowadays common on the huge screens.smaller screens doesn´t have that.

i can´t explain the phenomen easy.i could show u just in real so imagine it like patterns at some areas on the screen which appear while moving head forward or back on a close range.

This netbook has a Intel SU2300 CPU and I believe DDR2 ram the Mini 311 has an Atom N270/N280(upgrade) DDR3 memory and Nvidia ION graphics chip.
