You guys did awesome again Dave. That's a cool little silver ring. I figured the pendant was going to be silver also. I had a similar situation with that seated dime a while back. I was wondering what the heck that thing was doing in the park I found it. It did used to be farm land though. Congrats on all your finds. HH

@TejasDigger Thanks DJ, Yes that's strange where coins end up. where Mike dug the large cent was in the middle of the park, but before it became a park in the late 40's it was all farm land, i found a couple large cents of the old main road leading into the park area. Thanks for watching. HH

Boy was that large cent in excellent condition! Another ring?!!!!

@Biofilmz Yes that large cent was it great shape, and i think the depth was around 8 inches....yep another ring, with all the hours we put in detecting..we should have a lot more than what we have, Mike and i went out this afternoon, and mike dug a nice size silver ring, no silver coins today, did get 9 wheats and a bunch of clad.

@huronhorde Thank you, the couple parks we have been hunting lately are very big parks, they have been detected a lot, but we just look for areas out of the way, that have been over looked. At these to parks we have been detecting, you need a permit to detect in the park, and as long as you don't bring in big shovels, they don't have a problem, and i have seen other people get fined for destruction of property. Yes the large cent will clean up nice. Thanks for watching. HH

Dave ever find rocks with your metal detector that could be meteor fragments? I heard many can be worth thousands of dollars, if the rock sticks to a magnet, you might have a real find. Just some input you might want to hear. love to watch your hunts HH :)

@xxeh Thanks , that's a good one to look out for, a few years back i found a small piece of rock that did stick to a magnet, i will have to get it out and take a look at it again...thanks for the input..i appreciate it.
