  • If I'm rich, I would prefer to be ill in the US. If I am not rich, I would prefer to be ill in Europe or Canada.

  • God I love these!

  • it´s quiet obvious that a company which´s business is health needs people not to be sick in order to earn more money... don´t you think they will do EVERYTHING to avoid having to help you when you need it in their will to make more profit?

  • This is dumb. With Nationalized health care that kid would be stuck in the waiting room for like 6 hours because of the long waits. Or even worse, he would not even get the treatment and be scheduled for another time. No system is perfect, but ours is the best. I never see people going to Canada for treatment

  • ok cheesecake, who hired u, blue cross? UHC? Kaiser?

stop spreading lies for money. how do u live with urself? ;/

  • IDK, my family gets decent coverage. Then again, my dad's a full blown paramedic.

  • watch michael moore's sicko, it will make u sick.

  • Okay you need to study the facts. People in Canada do not stay in the waiting room for hours, they have the same amount of waiting that we do in America, in fact it's even less time. I mean where do you get your facts, everyone knows that what you said is false.

  • Haha, who hired you? Obamas henchmen? Acorn??? I have an aunt who lives in Canada who can tell you some fun stories. Her husband needed emergency gall bladder surgery and had to wait a month to get it. If you think Canada has the best healthcare, you should probably move there and let those who want to have their own health insurance and not pay for everyone else's do so. After all, this is the land of the free.

  • Also, I'd like to see some of YOUR facts hun. At least I have a personal story to share

  • How bad was the surgery needed, you do know that like all doctors they need to take emergancy cases first, and if he waited a damn month then he must have been fine, in pain, but not a emergency case, and the same thing happens in America in fact then you have to pay thousands and your lucky if you health care does not drop you, now stop being Bush's bitch and get a fucking brain.

  • My uncle was put on a month wait for full stroke treatment (his being a minor mal and all that). Fortunately he was in Canada for a fishing trip, so little consencquence.

And before you start firing of on me, simply take a deep breath and figure how much mullah it takes to run a sock puppet campaign compared to conventional political tactics and how wine, women and song have been far more effective than any astroturf have ever been.

Dang, where can I get some of that?

  • Wow, now your just talking out of your ass!

  • Come to think, my story would be horse s**t; Canadian healthcare is for CANADIANS, not some fisherman that gets a stroke on the wrong side of the border.

  • LOL. Okay then. You can hate free health care all you want. But you know what, it's a hell of a lot better then what we have now. People are dieing because they have no health care.

  • @teenwitchlovergirl i don't have health insurance and i'm not dieing. Besides healthcare isn't that expensive if you want it go get it. And in a life or death situation doctors will save your life, but like all services your expected to pay them, and they do take installments.

  • Our current obligation to entitlement programs is equivalent to $175,000/person in America. So how would we take on another huge obligation? If you think health care is expensive now wait till you see what it costs when the government takes over.

  • This is great! You've GOT to do more. It's stuff like this that will get the word out.

  • 14 million jobs in the health insurance industry + Universal health care = *Flush!*

  • when is the next episode???

  • I hope you don't intend to use our socialist police department or our socialist fire department or our socialist library.

Why is it OK to share the cost of these things and not something as important as health care. This has nothing to do with socialism and everything to do with corporate greed.

  • Csmallo: WHAT GOOD is cutting edge research, if treatments aren't easily ACCESSIBLE?!?!?! As for having to wait in a socialized system, IT'S BETTER THAN NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THE TREATMENT AT ALL!!! BTW, ever hear about having BOTH (socialized system w/the option of going to a private doctor whenever one wants to)?!

  • If congress passes HR 676 (universal single-payer health INSURANCE), all hospitals and doctors' offices will remain private/non-profit and untouched and we will be able to see any of them we want. It will allow us ALL access to universal health care. All private insurance companies will have to go into supplemental policies. Which would be good for extra procedures people might want to have done.

  • Health care is severely rationed in the USA as well. Except here it's called "pre-existing condition" or "treatment not covered".

Then of course there are the milions of Americans who receive no health care rations at all. We call them the "uninsured".

A socialized medical system depends upon a shared sense of national purpose and a willingness for citizens to shoulder responsibility.

Some would even call this patriotism. Whatever you call it, the GOP types seem clueless as to what it is.

  • Why do you talk about who does the cutting edge research in medicine? Like how private companies in the US pay for more research than all of the EU governments combined. Or how about how health care is rationed in these socialist care systems. Why no mention of how several health councils in the UK stopped providing some drugs and procedures to people? Or about how a test I can get done the same day in the US might take 8 months in Canada?

  • Face it folks. Socialized medicine works better than our so-called system. Of course there are all types of socialized medicine and ours will have to be tailored to our unique US situation.

Running a socialized healthcare system isn't for the faint of heart, so I can understand why Republican types would shy away from that. Hard work and dedication are not their strong points.

But for the rest of us Americans, when have we ever been afraid of taking on the hard and dirty jobs?

  • Ahhhhhhhhhh,

It's nice to see posters who pretend that the US's health care system is the best and everyone else's is socialist in nature. I'm sure our health care rating of 37th in the world is no problem for them. They love being surpassed by 36 other nations, some who are from the third world.

We are the only nation on Earth that doesn't have some form of universal health insurance.

    Lucky us!!

  • This is the reality of how we (as parents) have to raise our kids. But the politicians with our tax dollars enjoy their insurance and deny us the right to be treated by catering to insurance lobbyist.

  • Accurate and informative. The only people who could possibly hate this video are people that like corporate insurance...cmon guys, shouldn't our health be the bottom line of these companies? Cause right now, it isn't, it's all about profit.

  • this vid is halarious

  • the was so guy! the bear was so coming on to all of them!

  • Lol! It's so crappy it's funny, so accurate it's terrifying. I love the worst animal superheroes part!

  • why? Are you against free expression on "your" internet by those who disagree with you?

  • Because affordable health care is OBVIOUSLY for commies.

  • Thank the government for OHIP!

  • I haven't been to a doctor in ten years. Too expensive. I am just kinda waiting for something terrible can happen so that you taxpayers can pay fifty times more than if you would just let me go to the fucking doctor. Thanks america. My stomach hurts.

  • Also, good touch with Denial Crocodile's nipples.

  • Awesome Animation. I just posted this one my blog, which is not quite as awesome.

  • Very glad you liked it...and thanks for posting on your blog MBuchele!

  • hilariously cheesy and disgustingly accurate. I like it! "Ahhh! My leg!!"

  • Great video! Very clever.

  • I hope these guys make some more Insur-Animal toons. Good stuff......

  • Hilarious! This could easily fit in as a spot during Adult Swim.

  • This is the same type of crap that is already on adult swim. Most of CN's blocks are so stupid and boring you just fall asleep.

  • This is awesome!
