Too bad the WWE decided that Goldberg should win wrestlemania and retired but then again its better off for the veteran to retire as the winner than Lesnar the young heel. I don't watch wrestling anymore it died after the attitude era. But i am very happy that I lived the attitude era during my youth. :-)

Brock wasnt actually the strongest guy in wrestling entertainment Goldberg in his prime was crazy strong of course andre the giant and the big show are stronger nut they are giants but brock is one the must explosive and one the most quickest powerful beast in the history of WWE

lesnar wanted to return to the wwe
but he wanted too much!
wwe offered him the same deal as he had before he left, but brock wanted the same money but with a reduced ammount of appearences.
similar to the deal ric flair had at the time.
wwe said they couldnt do that deal so lesnar walked away!

People give Lesnar way too much credit. He only wrestled because Vince stuck huge sums of money in his face.

Again, working with Goldberg isn't easy, but at least Goldberg is capable of actually having a match at all.
Lesnar was fully capable of carrying Goldberg, even if he had to legitimately fight him; it was HIM who chose not to.

Instead of acknowleging this, they decided to hold him down, they even went as far as to not let him call his finisher the f5 anymore, i mean how petty can u get?

Held him down? I could have sworn they gave him the WWE title after just three months in the company. No midcard title reign, no tag title reign, no nothing. How is that "keeping him down?"
Also, did WWE even have a chance to acknowledge this? I don't think Lesnar ever asked for his release; he just went straight to announcing he was leaving after Wrestlemania XX.

i mean held him down TO the company, not within it, but tbh they should have seen it coming, he must of had other offers, if they truly wanted him to stay they should have given him an offer he couldnt refuse, instead they went to the courts, so then even if they did win and lesnar couldnt leave, do u think he would even bother with it any more

I'm actually a business major in college right now, and I'm currently taking a class called Legal Environment of Business. You can't have a no-compete clause that substantially hinders a person's ability to make a living. Lesnar technically won on that end, but WWE can claim a moral victory, since Lesnar was the one who spat in the face of the business to begin with.
