My R4 problem

hey, if it worked long time ago, it should still work. First, as what the guy said, lick the little contacts on the bottom of the chip, and it will increas the connectivity for your r4. Then, get a masking tape and put a small amount to the part where it has the r4 logo. Then turn on and it should go to the loading menu

One of my friends have this continually happen to their R4i SDHC Gold Box, sometimes they take out the MicroSD and the DS runs the R4 fine until you tap "Star Wars Lethal Alliance Ubisoft" than, they put the MicroSD in and the DS does not read the R4 at ALL!!! I feel sorry for anyone who gets this all the time (unless they are running DSi's coz they're part of the situation)

did you go on wifi with it??? Nintendo blocks the sd card when you go on wifi so your ds won't load it.

I know your problem, you must buy an microSD HC 4 GB. But it must be HC, because only HC works on r4. Hope it helps.

i have two sd cards they have the same objects in it and they are both 8gb but one of the cards dont want to load on the first loading. =(

if you have a problem with loading screen just get v.30 it work for my corrupted r4 when i was transferring a game and suddenly i knocked it out.when i put it back in it had a weird code, like alien code on one of the games and it then quit of and i then needed to format it.put in my ds and froze on loading screen.solution easy download the new version v.30 or v.29

lick the contacts , yes lick the contacts on your card. i had the same problem as you for ages i was goin mad cos i couldnt play on it. so randomly i lickes the contacts and it worked. try it :)

Look at my "How to put games on R4" video to learn about how to get games. If you did anything to the chip before it happened tell me.

Try getting new firmware from the R4 site. Put it on the chip in place of everything except the games.

There could be a problem with something in the system folder of your micro SD chip or you could be dealing with a fake R4. Put the chip in the USB 2.0 that came with the R4 & check it out. Tell me what you found in there.

well everything function for a while. It couldnt be a fake r4 cause it works and i bought it off the website so yea. And also it worked for like a limited time sort of thing. It worked for like 2 days then when i take out the memory card to update, it didnt work so im like wtf! so if u can help me try lol
