06 mustang gt magnaflow and o/r h

Hi tombstang,

I have a question, what exaust upgrade gives you horsepower for the 05-09 mustang gt? I hear the cat back exhaust systems add no power at all. Can you send me an example of an exhaust that adds power from americanmuscle(dot)com??

sounds good dude. As for what everyone else has to say, it all comes down to personal choice and what sound YOU are looking for for YOUR car. You don't need an ultra loud exhaust to get noticed.

I agree with squirrel102185, borla is not tame at all, but one to there own. Is your set up magna packs, if not you wasted your money. If you get the magnaflow cat back, it's better sounding than what you got....no harm intended car still sounds stock

ummm no, slp lm, boomtubes on s197, corsa are not loud at all and bassani and borla ar maybe 5 and 6......slp, boomtubes, mac, mm.....

borlas are loud cuz i have them. like really loud. slp is beyond loud. i have longtubes and or/x and when i had slps it was like stock car loud. but i like my borlas alot better now and are still really loud

naw borlas are tame compared to alot of set ups.

Buddy of mine just switched his out to MM and it pawns the borla set up full Lt and O/R x

ya i just switched to pypes mid muffler. bbk longtubes, bbk orx and pypes mid muffler, best sound ever! i love it. i have a video if u wanna check it out.

@tombstang i switched from borla to MM and it was louder at open throttle. quiet at idle. Then i put cams in the car and the MM made it way to loud. right now i have magnapacks and its the best sound ever

Your car sounds good. I was running magnapacks with an o/r prochamber. I added hi-flow cats which helped clean up the sound a little.

O/R means off road. Since there are no cats it's technically illegal for street use.

yeah its dropped with eibach pro kit and yes they are stock 18 they have been replaced with with 18 chrome shelby's.
