You need to convert your images to .cbds format before the program will be able to view them. Be sure to download the supplementary application Picto DS.
Put all the images of the comic you want to convert into a folder, and then add that folder in Picto DS, then click the convert button. If you did it right, it should be in the /cbds directory and you can view it with ComicBookDS.
i was trying to convert to .cbds some of my .rar mangas and stuff, and i found myself with such small .cbds files, i looked for it, i guess its because the images in .rar file have to be JPEG,JPG and stuff, one of my mangas where .png and it didn't worked D:
@badacastro Dont know what you mean, but if your eComics are zipped as either cbz or cbr files just extract them to a folder, then convert that folder to a cbds file using Picto.
does anyone know if there's the sonic the hedgehog comic series by archie available for comic book ds. if so, where? and if not: plz somebody put the series available for cbds download. i love those old sonic comics
So if I want to put more than 1 comic book do I have to go through the first images or the main image from the different folders will render out so I don't have to go through the same pictures.

1.Get the PictoDS, put all the images of the comic you want to convert into a folder
2.Run PictoDS.exe(the one with Toad as the image)
3.Add that folder in PictoDS.exe, then click the convert button (you can put more than one directory)
4.If you did it right, it should be in the PictoDS/cbds directory
5.You just drag the .cbds file into your CBDS directory in your SD card
6.Turn your DS and run ComicBookDS , select a comic/manga, and now you can read comics/mangas on your DS

im using Acekard 2, and i've found sometimes it makes a really small cbds file converted from rar that black screens when i open it

This software just keeps getting better and better! The best DS homebrew available at the moment. Totally pwns Infantile paralyser's version IMHO.
